He was doing this at LSU too FWIW.

You just didn't care because he was the QB of the team you love more than anything and have since you were a kid.

You just said you thought it was refreshing that he could be a role model to kids.

Now, you “don’t expect athletes to be role models”? I didn’t put words in your mouth. That’s what you wrote.

You seem indecisive.

Daniels at least says he played at LSU when they let the players introduce themselves.

As long as the dude is not abusing or murdering, all I care about is their impact on football. They’re not politicians.

This.

Sure, marketing is a thing, but I'm not going to act like I care if a dude on the team that I root for has different beliefs and tastes than me. I care about the teams I root for more than the individuals, so if they help my team win, and as long as they're not doing something illegal, they can worship whatever god they like. I honestly could not care less.

Love em both and it’s nice they are in different conferences. Need to meet in Super Bowl next year.

Dumb arse.. he did the Athens Ohio thing like one or two times. I’ve watched every bengals game and he and jamar every time said lsu. Your ignorance of what you are talking about is showing.

Just because you don’t doesn’t mean the world doesn’t. Clearly there is a reason why they film his walk into the locker room every game. Fans are different now and times have changed

Those fans are fricking losers. They deserve to be bullied. This is the NFL not keeping up with the Kardashians.

So what? theyre kids - not role models

You just answered it without even knowing. I don’t know you, but I’m guessing you don’t have kids. They are kids to us adults. But kids watch these kids. And they look up to them a lot. These kids will have posters on their walls of “these kids”
And if the man says in his post game interview “I give all glory to God”
Maybe it’ll make some kids want to turn to God for their problems. And if you have a problem with that, I think you should turn to God for your problems. If you have any questions about that I will be happy to answer them.

The funny thing is that the majority of this board probably wears boat shirts and shoes and considers that not weird, even though it looks just as ridiculous as some of the shite players wear.
