What do you call the team running out to our band playing…not some piped in crap…fireworks and a cannon going off? I call that an entrance.

EXACTLY! Tradition.

Anytime Wisconsin or South Carolina or whoever claims to have the best entrance because they jump around or go all space odyssey I laugh. Anyone can have a DJ. We have a band.

Plenty of other schools have given their pre-game traditions a refresh. We don't have to scrap it, just shake it up a bit. TGBFTL four-corner salute is iconic. Never touch that. We used to do the "Geaux Tigers" west/east side cheer, but somehow that's gone away. As much as I'd love to see Mike back in the stadium, that will never happen.

One of my favorite entrances ever was before Auburn in 2003. The start was delayed because of weather.

Instead of doing full Pregame, the band formed a tunnel and the players came straight through as the band played just Pregame (instead of Fight for LSU).

Players came out and dominated Auburn. Huge TD to Devery in first two minutes and then Chad Lavalais wrecking an Auburn running back when they went for it on 4th and 1. Really memorable game on the way to that championship.

They really need to bring this back in its video form. Not nearly as good with Borne/Franques live reading the lines.

Haha, yeah, that’s “tradition”.

Our pregame and team entrance is our tradition and serves us well.

Not to hijack the thread, but the band played House of the rising son during a TV break (after all the ads) Sat night and it had a pretty big response/fan sing along. I could see it taking off.

Looks like the majority who are commenting under this post are disagreeing.

All I was referring to would be the 2-3 minutes before the team enters the field. I love the band’s pregame, I love the win bar, etc. However the 2-3 minutes in between the band making the tunnel to LSU running out, is dead IMO.

Probably the most overrated atmosphere I’ve seen. Its not bad but it’s hit great either.

I've always obviously thought , Death Valley-rollin fog - undertakers song( wwe probably would be a problem), Quiet Riot-come on feel the noise-( 130 decibel game), but yea ,need to have someone write something. Would be amazing if the GBFTL did something iconic and then follow it with the fight song

USCe has great fans and Williams-Brice can definitely get loud at times, but I've always felt that their atmosphere feels very "manufactured" for lack of a better word. That said, they know how to do a light show, which is apparently something we can't seem to grasp.

may be in the minority but I love the highlight video before they come running out and no music afterwards. Just hear the crowd roaring.

They need to redo the video/volume specifically for TS. The video is great but you cannot hear the narritive very well and the current form is not emphatic enough. And at the end the need to blast the tiger roar. Then shoot the cannon, fireworks, and team bust out of the tunnel.

The new sound system is very powerful and would make a tremendous tiger roar
