Detroit has the number 2 offense in the NFL, they've been a problem for everybody this year and they average 33 points a game.
Also statistically the Commanders are just a hair above average and the Bengals are on towards the bottom side of the NFL.
Once again just go back and watch the games, Burrow is having a crazy good season and he didn't even get close to the playoffs.

Dead heat, 1a and 1b in whatever order you prefer.

Maybe, maybe not, they got gashed running the ball. First and foremost, you need to stop the run for those guys to factor in. Those CB's don't mean much if you can't stop the run.

I don't know but the question isn't much different than who's the best qb on the planet cause both are easily top 5.

They are both Awesome and Amazing ??????

Have you not watched this year in crunch time of almost all their games?
I have not. I don’t really watch pro ball, and my love of college is fading fast. It’s good to hear he has done so well. I really liked him at LSU.

so is burrow. always was
I didn’t says burrow wasn’t. ??? I was pointing out all of Daniel’s pros and why it is making him successful in the NFL. It’s the combination of that passing and run threat potentially being better than anything we have seen that could lift Daniels over Burrow at the NFL level. Again Burrow is my favorite qb of all time and Daniels still has to keep improving. But the possibility is definitely there.

Too early to say. Burrow has had a better receiving room, but OLine and D have been weak. Daniels seems to have a good OLine, not great, and a good D. McLaurin and Ertz are great, but he doesn’t really have a #2 receiver on the level Burrow does. Jayden needs to get through 4 seasons or so before you can make any real assessment.

No, he has a better o line though.

So if the surrounding cast doesn’t matter why didn’t Daniels win the Natty ?

They are both awesome. I pull for them both. Great ambassadors for LSU.
No need to compare them.

The argument that Daniels does not have a D is not a good one. Washington ranks 13th in NFL (4th in NFC) in Defense. Where as Bengals rank 25th in NFL (14th in AFC).
Burrow had to have the season he had to even have a shot to make the playoffs. If his Defense was similar to Daniels D ( getting turnovers at key spots), the Bengals would be in the Championship Game too and hosting.
The main question is Daniels better than Burrow? At this point he is not better than Burrow. He is doing phenomenal things no rookie should do. It is one year. Burrow has been elite for 5 years.

Let’s just be happy that they are both top QB’s in the league representing LSU
If you would have told us 10 years ago we would have top QB's in the NFL you would have be laughed off this board. I agree lets just enjoy both and be happy they played at LSU.

No.
So Washington doesnt have a better O-line, running game, and defense than Cincinnati?
The Bengals allowed more yards, touchdowns, and of course points.
The Redskins outrushed the Bengals by over a 1000 yds this year (and still outrushed them if you take away Daniels 800 plus yards)
Rating offensive lines is more subjective, and sacks were close to even (Washington allowed two more)

Bro, stop. You're using total D?
The Commanders had a god awful D and they drained the clock all year to keep it off the field. This is going to limit yards/game.
If you look at yards/play, they're exactly the same at 5.4 ypp, which is smack dab in the middle of the league this year.

But you aren't making an argument... you just asked a question.

That was not what I responded to. I'll post it to remind you:

significantly better oline, running game, and defense.

526 rushing attempts (5th most) v. 380 rushing attempts (3rd fewest)
If you take out JD's stats, the ypc gets closer (4.5 to 4.1) and that's ignoring the impact JD had in creating the rushing game for the RBs.
Slightly better, but not significantly better. Same with the Ds.
Their OLs are rated very similarly, as is their D. This ignores the huge advantage Burrow has at WR and ST.
People are creating this narrative that JD had these huge advantages and Burrow is playing with a sisters of the poor team, but it's fantasy. Just like how it's even worse fantasy to pretend the team Burrow led to the Super Bowl was bad (it's more talented than either of these rosters this year).
