Whoo, where do you live? I haven’t felt the fall air.
But I AM pumped for this team. LK is a competitor and as much as he’s downplaying year 1, you just know he thinks he can win it all. I have a feeling we crush OM. I don’t think losing that game is an option for him.

When I think fall weather, the highs can't be anywhere above 80. That is still a long way away for us.

"In South Louisiana, the period when average daily highs are in the low-to-mid 80s°F generally ends in late August to early September."
Late August is 4 weeks away. Early September 5 to 6 weeks. That's not the 2 to 3 months that was suggested.

Man, I really hope you are correct this year. However, Ive been in Tiger Stadium enough Saturdays that felt like I was either being melted by the sun or that I was in an oven. I wouldn't feel like that if the high was in the low 80s. I don't know how many early September games that I remember thinking how lovely it felt outside. Didn't Louisiana make a rule outlawing day games in September? They wouldn't do that if the days of highs in the mid to low 80s were in our rearview mirror.
Not sure why I am going this deep into this. I just can't help myself. Here is September from last year in Baton Rouge. There were two days with highs below 85. LINK
