People are bored with regular season lsu baseball. The fan experience at the park is lacking, and the concessions are at an alltime low.

Great season ticket holders who rarely show up would be my guess and observation from several games I've attended. Far more tickets sold than what shows up. No matter how anyone tries to spin it, the season ticket holders for baseball are old and quiet for the most part. The atmosphere is lame AF compared to other places now. Either get into the game or give up your tickets blue hairs.

LSU should win when giving up 5 runs to a team like Arkansas.

Arkansas is the 2nd best team in the SEC this year, and has a legit ace. We should win we score 4 runs and have a 2 run lead in the 8th

The bullpen has cost us 1 game against SC, 1 maybe 2 against Ole Miss, and last night

The last three weeks we were winning 6-0, 7-4, and 4-2 and could not hold the leads. Win those three games, and the discussion is about hosting a regional. Our bullpen sucks. It’s late in the season, and there is not one bullpen pitcher that can be relied upon.

Is it recruiting or development that is the problem in the bullpen? Can’t really blame it on injuries

Pitching allowed 3 runs in top 8th and that’s what lost it.

And LSU had a runner stuck at 3rd base with one out in the ninth and ended up striking out for outs two and three. At least twice in the last two weeks, LSU has had the bases loaded with no outs late in the game and could not score one run with it. Yes, the bullpen has been piss poor, but the hitting has been just as bad. It's both.

Yeah, starters have had terrible starts, haven't had good run support at times and the most glaring letdown has been the bullpen.

Bad stadium, bad and expensive concessions, bad fans = tired experience.

It’s a combined team loss. The issues with this current team permeate through the entire roster.

The concessions were terrible to non-existent at the old box, so it's not that. People have more access now. All games are available on tv or to stream. Why go fuss with the parking and wearing shoes when you don't have to? That is the real reason. Unless the team is top 10 on a roll, you aren't going to get the casual fans to fill that thing up anymore. Same with football, but with even more threshold of annoyance to overcome in terms of people and traffic.

It's all of the above. They're not taking full advantage of pitchers' mistakes and pitch counts. Front end pitching is pretty good but generally left in for too long. The bullpen is hit or miss. Coaching is not pulling the right strings consistently enough.

Arkansas took full advantage of LSU's pitching mistakes and worked counts. The starter kept them in the game and the bullpen held serve. Their coaches won the small chess matches.

That no call on the balk, though. For a team hanging on for dear life, that baserunner turned out to be huge.

As in being at home, not needing to put them on. Complicated there.

It's all the above plus pulmonary making rookie mistakes has cost them 4-6 games alone this year by just showing up
