It’s the fricking bullpen. Umps didn’t help but since South Carolina we have not been able to keep a late inning lead.

LSU should win when giving up 5 runs to a team like Arkansas.

So no mater who Arkansas pitches we should score more than 5 runs??
We got him deep in his pitch count and probably should have scored a couple more but Friday night games are tough to score high numbers. Pitching allowed 3 runs in top 8th and that’s what lost it.

Yeah it’s a little of both but the bullpen can’t keep a lead. That’s my point. Hitting has done enough to get us up late in the game and pitching just gets smoked and we have no answer. Even nick bush, our best reliever to date struggled.

It was unfortunate the way it happened but this Arkansas team was going to score. Coming into the season LSU was going to win my offense. It hasn't.

Watson has had a hell of sophomore slump.
Missing Smith sucks bc I feel he’s a leader on this team.
Dups is consistent.
Jordan twins surprise at times and then blow when it counts. Ready for them to be gone.
Slaughter just has been hard to watch. I root so hard for the guy. Hopefully, he finally puts it together next year. Should have a nice pitching staff with walker back next year.

This season was a shite show. Everyone is unhappy but they weren't supposed to be real good and with the injuries making the post season would be a huge accomplishment.

I agree. It’s been a tough season. But it’s not like we’re that far off. Just have to find a way to get a lead and keep it. And get a little lucky.

Sometimes it doesn't happen. They are still fighting but it's not working. I still believe Paul has 1 more national championship in him.

Next year could be really good. Hoping Watson comes back after this disappointing year. I can see him leave but he will still have another year where he has the leverage.

Originally I thought next year was the year but like you said it just depends who stays. Also as of recent who can stay healthy. Who comes to campus. The world isn't ending. Anyone who follows LSU baseball knew this wasn't going to be a championship run.

We don’t have one legit starting pitcher returning next season other than Hilliard. No one knows if Walker will be anything like he was last season. We lose Watson, duplantis, Bain, hess, beau jordan. Please tell me where we will be better next season?

Losing the Jordan’s means we will improve at least slightly—I can’t watch that guy adjust his cup many more times without some more winning

Walker coming back plus hilliard, plus storz, and labas.
Watson isnt for sure gone, dups may come back, webre, and smith back, plus the hitters we have coming in, this team will make a run at it next year.

It’s a mystery why any team would throw the guy anything but breaking stuff. They don’t have to even be in the zone. He’ll swing and miss by a foot.
