re: It’s incomprehensible how dumb LSU fans are

Maybe some fans have higher expectations than they should for this team and coaching staff. Will Wade isn't 1 of the top 25 coaches in college basketball. This team plays very undisciplined and truly doesn't look well-coached.

If you are happy with Wade, fine. There's certainly plenty worst coaches out there. But to over-inflate his coaching is a problem. He's being out-coached considerably. Our players are who they are, I don't blame them for their poor play. WW is supposed to coach Gaines into being a better PG by being less careless with the ball. WW is supposed to motivate Days to stop playing lazy on offense and start taking a more active role in "creating" offensive opportunities as opposed to just standing stagnant on the perimeter waiting for the ball to find him. Basically, there are various issues with the "coaching" aspect of this team. I'm 46 and have been watching basketball as long as I can remember and it's painfully obvious this team has a lot of coaching issues.

Can you be more specific? The ones who say we aren’t very good fundamentally or the ones who were saying Final Four, build new arena, extend WW 3 weeks ago?

Cant. Lost causes

It's all the refs fault to them. No one else. And today was a fairly called game.

No one agrees Efton Reid is getting the job done but it’s pretty reasonable to conclude he has a nice ceiling and could be a great 2-3 year guy for us if he develops. Reid is a project being new to basketball and if he weren’t he’d be at duke right now.

It’s one thing to say he’s got a lot of work to do. It’s another when people have painfully dumb takes that just trash a guy

You don't have to be a hard core fan to see negative aspects of a team.

It was an unranked team and they out hustled, out played, and out defended us.

What about getting paid for your basketball knowledge makes you a basketball guru? There's plenty of people in the coaching ranks, on TV, Radio and all the different platforms provided on the interwebs, which are full of mouth breathing idiots that are far from basketball gurus yet they get paid for their opinion.

I never understood the position that idiots like you take that people can't speak on other's idiotic takes and call them out for the obviously idiotic takes unless they're some guru, who can only be classified as a guru if they're someone getting paid for what they speak on.

If our idiotic fans can overreact and be in constant meltdown mode 24.7.365 and constantly speak bad about our players or successful coaches, regardless of how wrong they are and how it's clear they haven't any knowledge on what they speak on. Then, why can't our fans who see those emotionally immature and irrational fans only on here after every loss call them out for being immature, irrational and dumb, especially when they're speaking ill of our players and successful coaches?

Or better yet, why is it you don't require those dumb fans to be gurus when they speak on things they clearly have no clue about? However, you want to require the people calling those who are clearly idiotic fans, to be gurus?

I bet you the same people who are clamoring for Wade to be fired are the same ones who thought it was a horrible idea to fire O, even though the evidence exists, and is very clear, not only which one is the better coach in their respective sports, but also which one has/had their program going in the right direction.
