It is painful watching this man attempt to process what is happening on the field and make real-time decisions. He appears to be a slow thinker who is dazed and confused. The relentless delay of game calls, confused players, poor judgement...all contribute to LSU's inability to leverage the tremendous athletes we have on this team. This has been frustrating for all LSU fans who know we deserve better.

I think this hurts our recruiting. What player in his right mind wants to be handcuffed on the field by a dull, slow-thinking coach. Hopefully recruits see that we have been in every game this year, and we are not far away from competing for another NC. Maybe a new offensive coordinator, who can share in the game planning and game situation decisions with Les Miles will be get us to the next level.

If it were my decision, I would replace Crowton & Co. and give Miles very direct feedback at the end of this season. If he cannot land a great offensive coordinator and delegate the offensive game planning and execution, he's done. If he does not change, it's time for LSU to cowboy-up to the tough decision and send Les Miles packing.

Finally, it's frustrating to watch Les struggles to speak the English language. If you listen to him speak and/or read the transcripts from his press conferences, it's embarrassing to anyone who takes pride in LSU as an educational institution.

...+ 1, indeed....I'm another who has supported CLM. Said stuff like "Hey, look at the record " Uhhhh.. Except don't look at '08, maybe. Just a fluke "down year" there, right? ...Well this year has been incredibly perplexing to me. ALL the games ( maybe Auburn excepted..) have been PAINFUL to watrch. I mean PAINFUL. There is continuous CONFUSION on sidelines. Utilization of players/talent? I can't figure out whats going on...Yeah, I know, I know - I'm not at the practices, I'm not a coach, etc etc etc...But I DO KNOW WHAT I'm SEEING. And what I'm seeing ain't good. This game has put me, personally, over the edge. Worst management of an end of a game I have EVER seen - where the chance at victory was literally being handed to you on a silver platter - and they didn't have a clue with what to do....Amazing..

The irony is I hate fans that were blind to the obvious (his colossal mismanagement of time and play calling) because they allow themselves to be playful little lemmings and ignore reality. You can be a massive fan and still not be blind to total stupidity.

Difference is some folks take several years to figure it out and apparently get bitter at those who cracked that code several years ago. Oh well, better late then never and welcome aboard.

You today:

And despite last night, Les Miles has done a good job overall at LSU in his 5 years (not great, but good).

Way back on Nov 19

Yeah, there's no way around it. Les Miles has done a fantastic job at LSU. Anyone that says otherwise is simply put: wrong.

Like I said, though, it's ok to be wrong every now and then.

I understand because your anger towards others because posts like above made you look like a fricking idiot... but just remember:

it's ok to be wrong every now and then

ohhhh how your tune changes. YOu look almost as dumb as he does.

when you were taking up for him earlier in the week, this was exactly the kind of management people were talking about that made them uncomfortable with him as HC

I think you and I are pretty much twins.
I have always been in the Miles camp, vigorously defending him, And I agree word for word with your analysis.

I want LSU to succeed.
I want Miles to succeed.
In that order.

Miles RICHLY EARNED our loss of faith.
Yesterday he was UNWORTHY of our trust.
The burden of that loss of faith lies with HIM.

For what it's worth, JPL is definitely in the upper-echelon of homers on this site with LSUmomma and Cadello.

I don't care if I look dumb. But you're an idiot if you try to make the argument that I'm not a fairly reasonable and rational fan.

How did it take so many people SO LONG to realize Les is not the great coach that the "positigers" make him out to be? Holy shite... how many people have been saying that his talent wins in spite of his stupidity for at least the last 2 years? I mean, it's been pretty obvious to me since about 2007, but a lot of people go back to 2005 and 2006... and now you're here "eating crow" about 2 years after it was in plain view. Sorry, not trying to be a dick, but, jeez.

Then we'll have to agree to disagree. On what we're disagreeing about, I'm not exactly sure.

FWIW, I don't think anyone (including myself) made Les Miles out to be a "great" coach. I have said before that Miles is a good coach, and has yet to show greatness (although I was certainly hoping for LSU's sake that he would indeed become a great coach at LSU)

After Saturday, I am willing to concede that Miles is not and will never be a "great coach."

His biggest failure from last night, in my opinion, is not taking responsibility for the loss. The lack of control at the end of the game is 100% on him. He is the head coach, and the disorganization is a reflection on him. Therefore, he needs to step up and take responsibility for what happened.

In the post game interview, it sounded like he was almost trying to blame JJ for the spike. Even if JJ made that call, JJ should not have been in the situation to make that decision. Besides the fact, we should not have been in a 1 sec position to begin with.

That's you trying to rub shite in other's faces. Be a blind homer all you want and continue to suck Les' cock (both literally and figuratively), as long as you admit that you were wrong.

I believe that's exactly what I have done here. FWIW, I think your tone and comments are uncalled for.
