I was going to say the same thing. I think we will have a different Special Teams coach next season but Les will not do anything to jeopardize our recruiting unless Peveto costs us a game. Part of this falls on Les though. He actually hired BDP TWICE......let that sink in for a few minutes

Do any of you geniuses realize how odd it would be for a top 5 team to fire a coach mid season?
Talk about a distraction, we'd be all over ESPN with this absurdity

Hanny said BDP was also coaching LBs this season since Steele bounces around between the units unlike fat boy who only sat with his speciality all day every day.

That's awesome. I was being a bit facetious earlier. I mean when you are ranked 100s in every major category of special teams with some of the best talent in the country, there's really no excuse. Something needs to change quickly.

Agree. And with the Tigers's 6-0 standing and a chance to be in the play-off, people will talk more than five seconds if we lose games because of our bad ST plays.

taking the emotion out of the subject and you can still see that BDP ranks last in the nation at his position.
When we had Z. Mettenburger, Beckham and Landry and (insert any awesome RB), we had a defense problem. When we had an awesome defense, we had JJ.
These problems kept us from winning the SEC West.
BDP runs a third of LSU's plays in Special teams. He most certainly can cost us a game or two.
