I knew that this comment was coming the old some kids want to leave the state talk well get ready because alot more la kids will want to leave$$$$
We’ve feasted on Texas, Florida and Georgia kids. Don’t have a single championship without them. Welcome to college football since the beginning of time.

The Team/Coaches get decent recruits but the development has been very slow if any in year 1. Look at Bama, GA, OSU etc they have Yr 1 True Freshman big time players...LSU 5stars are now existent yearb1and alot year 2. Have to develop/coach them up early.
GA gets 29 EE, LSU on a high year 16....Its not hard too figure out why.

I don't agree with the OP… But I also think that recruiting rankings don't mean squat until after signing day
Yes, that is true, but based only on the information we have today, it is not clear that LSU can’t compete in the NIL era. Last year’s class is in house and was very highly ranked. The sky isn’t falling and it’s alarmist to assume it will.

Maybe Kelly doesn’t want to pay $2 mil for a kid that has only played 10 games.

"It's becoming all to(o) clear LSU" doesn't respect YOUR IGNORANT opinion as to how LSU should spend NIL assets...especially on players who haven't played one single down of college football. Thank God you have 0 to do with LSU and the usage of NIL there.

Top 10 classes don’t mean shite in terms of winning championships. That’s been proven year after year. Top 5 classes particularly top 3 classes every year wins championships
Michigan says hi! 2023 class back to 2019...rankings 17, 12, 13, 13, and 10

The problem lately has been the coaching of the talent not this NIL crap

I mostly agree with that. Mostly because EVERYONE knows that Ole Miss raided Fort Knox to field this year's team and has already lost 3 games to KY, LSU, and SC. Not to mention that Ole Miss didn't play teams like Texas, Tennessee, Alabama, or A&M. The only great team they played was Georgia and they did beat them, but they aren't even in the playoff conversation after spending a fortune...especially on defense.

How much do you actually know about Stewart and his recruitment and what he’s commanding?

I can't imagine trying to maintain a locker room with 1 freshman making 10x as much as a bunch of juniors and seniors, though. If I had to guess, Michigan is gonna struggle with the outcomes of this decision.
I hadn't thought of this but it is surefire trouble. Underwood better have social talent as well as physical, or they will lay down on him.

It is a team sport . If the coaching is great and the team concept emphasized , they will do well .

This might be true, but they can still compete in the transfer portal. This last year Kelly was being stubborn, but I'm sure he sees now what needs to happen. If he doesn't see it, he needs to go. Evolve or dissolve.
Top performers are transferring left and right, and LSU can easily snag the few pieces they need every year through the portal.
In regards to the High School recruits, putting a fence around LA is a MUST. Most of these kids dream of playing at LSU and in Tiger Stadium. Unless these kids are being offered Underwood money, it's hard to leave the state and school you dreamed of playing for.

OP might not like the % of LSU grads that actually choose to leave Louisiana after they graduate. Same thing with some of these HS kids.

Your post history is littered with negative comments towards LSU. Honestly I couldn’t find one positive thing.
You just bitch to bitch.
