Is this real life? What a bizarre take. Only on the rant can a guy who ostensibly got the job cuz he’s “one of us” be protected from vitriol because he’s now not one of us.

the thread wasn't started by a "negatiger". It was more propaganda from someone who's trying way too hard to convince themselves that Orgeron is a good head coach. You have to wonder why they can't just post his career record and point to his track record as a head coach to say he's a good coach. Instead, they start these "y'all wait and see" threads. I mean seriously, whatever. If he was worth a shite, you wouldn't have a divided fan base. But keep crying pussy

The reasons Tiger fans (not just millennials and negatigers) don't like O is:
- lack of success as a Head Coach in the SEC. (inb4 he's a different coach than he was at Ole Miss, yadda yadda)
- unable to motivate the team to beat Troy
- unable to have the team play disciplined football.
- lost to Mississippi State by the worst margin of defeat, ever.
- unable to field questions from fans or media when that question has a negative criticism in it.
- did not deliver on his promise to not meddle in the offense and "let his coaches coach"
...need I go on?
yeah, he's a Louisiana boy and this is his dream job but he is in way over his head.

what's embarrassing to LSU is all the public fumbling of BASIC AD FUNCTIONS like calmly searching and negotiating with a head coaching candidate, not being able to actually conduct a real coaching search, not leaking info to media and then botching the firing/retaining of your most successful head coach in 30+ years.
That is embarrassing.

he had his chance his interim season. He couldn't beat a wounded and inferior Florida team to even chance the Sugar Bowl.
He had his chance when he couldn't swallow his pride and let Matt Canada coach after talking the guy up all offseason.
He had his chance going into Starkville where he lost to MooState by 30.
He had his chance when his team lost to TROY.
He's had plenty of chances.

From th outside looking in it appeared LSU only had one candidate in mind. Hardly enough of a sample size to mean anything.

IF it happens, and that is a major IF, it means LSU will be dominant again, and that is what really matters. Until then, the "haters" have every right to do what they do.
