2 innings would be good. Anything more would be gravy.

The defense has to help out tonight. Can’t be prolonging innings by kicking the ball around.

Hilliard once through the order (hopefully that's 3 innings). Marceaux once through the top of their lineup.
Hellmers for 2 innings.
Floyd for 1 inning.
Hasty to one lefty.
Edwards to close it out.
Team no-hitter

Hilliard is going to have to be pinpoint with that big hook for this to happen. Hopefully it’s better than it was against CCU.

ETA: He was getting squeezed a bit that game though.

Oregon St just brought in their Saturday starter that threw 93 pitches two days ago. It’s gut check time and we shouldn’t be surprised with anyone coming in.

LFG!

Doubt Hilliard goes 4. But throw in 2 for Edwards

If he is on, youth and adrenaline will be on his side.

Ole Miss topped that and brought in their ace who threw 123 pitches less than two days ago.

Pound the zone and play good D behind every P tonight. Be effective and efficient!

Hellmers should be able to go 3 unless he isn't on or has an unknown arm issue. Hope the outfield is ready to give Hilliard some support. They will hit him if his curve isn't sharp.

Make that 4-5 innings.

I think he has 60-70 pitches in him.

If they are all 1st pitch ground outs he'd be at 12-15 pitches...

That's doable.

Haha
