LSU needs to answer for its Baylor-esque institutional rot, and firing Ed Orgeron should be the first step

Yahoo really does hate LSU. Gotta love the opening

quote:

Ed Orgeron has to go.

Period.

Cancel culture is fricking ridiculous.

My personal favorite is when they don’t allow “reactions.” So this person can say whatever she wants without being fact checked… cool. I hope Phillips finds a way to sue each one of these big papers/sites and wins big.

Too many "journalists" like Shalize have agendas and can't view life through an objective lens. Perhaps all of this happened, but to say Coach O has to go without having an investigation other than the USA Today investigation is wrong. If he and others deserve to be fired, so be it, but she doesn't get to demand that.

I think all Progressive Democrat LSU fans should be consistent and immediately demand Orgeron’s firing and cut off all support of LSU. And then we NORMALS can start enjoying life again without you insufferable SJW whiny fricks. Go support Portland State or Evergreen College. I hear their Trans Poetry Team is tremendous.

Yahoo has always had a shitty sports section.

To insure that their writers are in a "safe zone," Yahoo turns off commenting and feedback. Yahoo has always been scared of argument and dialogue - it shut down the chat rooms and then the message boards.

I actually read it because I like reading people who have different opinions of me and it reminds me how insane people on the far left and far right are. I am convinced the further away you are on the political spectrum the more you actually have in common. Your reasoning behind it is just different and neither one makes sense lol.

The substance in the article does not reflect what the title is stating. There is nothing in the article that point O as the direct blame for anything. The issue is above his head. The players they use for examples while O was the coach were all disciplined by him when the process was completed. You can argue, and I’d listen, that it took longer than it should have but that’s not on the coach.

Well, personally I don't think you can walk a lot of this back. After reading the USA Today article, it's clear that a lot of people failed to follow Title IX regulations. I think the tennis coaches are gone, Ausberry is gone, the trainer for the tennis team, and maybe Mickey Joseph. I wouldn't be surprised to see O let go for cause but that may be a reach. It is troubling. It seems the frat boy incidents gives it a look of an institutional issue.

Support for firing O, but by a woke source for the wrong reasons. This will twist the Rant in knots.
