Then why are you reading this thread, and why are you posting in it?

Yeah, the thing a/b this thread was that I just wanted to share the link with anyone who didn't catch the interview in a simple fashion without debating Mo's weightlifting, her ability to kick, or anything. I figured I'd leave that to the other threads.

While I agree with someone who mentioned she said "um" a few times during the interview, she certainly carried herself well and I think did a great job considering it was a national TV interview. I'm happy for her and that she's pursuing a dream. Geaux Mo!

now that JJ/JL is over BT has nothing to post about, this has been a nice gap-filler for him until he figures out something new to incessantly bitch-whine about.

Thanks. I hadn't seen it and, um, enjoyed her interview.

Little harsh. She did well. I would bet her social skills would top yours at comparable stages in your lives.

I missed it because I wouldn't be caught dead watching Fox and Friends.

Undoubtedly, but that has absolutely nothing to do with what I posted. She wasn't bad by any means, but she also didn't seem "special". If I had never read anything about her on this site my take away would not have been "wow, she was great in front of the camera, that girl should be on ESPN." It would have been more, meh, just another regular interview

I think she did great and I think that all of this is great and for those who are upset - get a life. She is giving great publicity to LSU and they are helping her get a job for the future, which is what a university is supposed to do for a graduating student, if it can. It is a win-win all around.

I have no idea how people could be upset about this. Seriously.

More power to Mo. I admire people with the attitude that she has. Especially someone so young.

She has gone a long way since me seeing her make that goal in soccer her freshmen year the day after and me thinking she was a middle eastern girl

i think this is actually a pretty stupid thing Mo is doing. I think she is taking this too far. Women do not need to be on the football field in pads. It is a bad idea, i think that perhaps she should enjoy some time playing college sports and enjoy the limelight, but i think she is very naive in her approach to big time athletics, and thinks "everyone is my friend," which is not true, and could really hurt her in the end. she needs to be very careful.

I agree with the person that said this is a good thing just to get the focus off of the arse rape that took place in NOLA. I can also think of a lot worse people to be ambassadors for my alma mater. We could use a female version of Stan Verret on ESPN giving shout outs to the tigers.

people such as myself that missed bc they don't care.

It is really really really easy to just skip over a thread title you 'don't care' about. I do it 90% of the time on here.

I guess I live in a cave. I had not seen the interview - I had heard about her possibly trying out for the team.

Thanks to the OP for going to the trouble of posting the link to the interview. I enjoyed it and agree that LSU - and Mo - came out looking goooooood.
