Nah, the boys from Neville > West Monroe.
Now let's get Campbell's buddy Zalance Heard committed & we'll really have something going.

Only left tackle in recent memory to start as a true freshman is Ciron Black.

Did La’el Collin’s start at LT as a true freshman?

Ciron Black had a stint selling cars at Brian Harris BMW shortly after he left LSU. I think the reason he couldn’t play pro ball had something to do with injury. He was a terrible car salesman fwiw.

I was thinking Whit or Rodney Reed, but both redshirted.

When the best developer of O linemen in the country is starting a true freshman O lineman, that should tell you something

All that tells you is how he compares to the current O-linemen on our roster, which have been just OK during their careers. It doesn’t tell you anything about how he compares to Whitworth.

Saahdiq Charles started 9 games at LT as a true freshman. It's surprising how he is forgotten so quickly.

So honestly this makes Campbell a better prospect than Whitworth. Lots to be excited about!!!

Back then it was much more common for linemen to redshirt. Now it really only happens if there's an injury or the guy is a project.

Collins first season he started on the inside. There was an eight year stretch where LSU only started two players at LT, Whit and Black. Kind of crazy to think in this current world of college football.

Redshirt means very little if he is as good as advertised!! I mean you only going to have them for 3 years anyway might as well play them
