I don’t want to hear any Walkon’s slander. Their food used to suck but I think their food is good af now. Their red beans are awesome as are the sliders.

They are a Louisiana born company and they import their shrimp!!!

This is a TRUE statement. The online menu states that the shrimp are imported. Really sucks that a LA company imports shrimp when most of their restaurants are close to the gulf and local fishermen. I have stopped going to eat there because of this.

fricking Acme is the same way. Market themselves and Nola/La but use foreign shrimp and the Vietnamese fake catfish.

It wasn’t always this way. Their fried shrimp was good, but alas they succumbed to the almighty dollar and went cheap. Their fried shrimp now proves my point.

I agree but they sold the company a few years back. I’m not sure who owns it now. If I had to guess it’s probably some corporation now
