Is this outbreak a sign of a much, much bigger problem?

With this virus postponing numerous games each week, I feel confident is saying that Coach O told the players to rest up and that there was to be no partying or barhopping, period. If this was the case and the players ignored his request, then there is a much bigger problem than the virus going on in that locker room!

Anyone saying this is good has their head in the sand.

LSU has some big, systemic issues but look around CFB today, this isn't an isolated event. Teams without championship aspirations went out and partied during halloween and got hit.

the virus doesn't effect young people...very very mild symptoms

and a vaccine was just announced

so there is that

there is no bigger issue going on

just the media which sucks for America

It was a Halloween party. If you really believe a bunch of college kids aren't going to go to a party because of a virus they have a 99.99% chance of surviving, I've got a bridge to sell you.

Bruh...that party was a real life Project X. BRPD had to bring out a helicopter to break it up.

I guess the same problems exist at Florida/Missouri/A&M/Miss St because they have all had outbreaks - probably from going out. Florida and A&M actually have a chance to make the playoffs and they still didn't follow the rules

I honestly heard it was a bunch of walkons that didn’t make the trip to auburn that partied with the volleyball team

Time to move forward to the 2021 season, it's all coming apart for this year.

What player, under any coach, isn’t going to the bars, house/frat parties? Stfu

Yeah, a lack of quality IQ points by those involved.

The best thing he could have done is lighten up on practice during that period but have them report daily so they would have the best chance at remaining COVID-free approaching this week's game.

Somebody never went to college! Carlotta Street and the Halloween parties with some of the best parties of the year. Don’t blame them at all!

A player that respects his HC and doesn't want to jeopardize the team! That's who DA!

Did you 100% do what your parents told you to do/not do?

When you go to college on an athletic scholarship, you're making a commitment to that program. When it is your time of the year to play, you make the sacrifices for the team! We're not talking about one player getting the virus, we're talking about many players! It's a team sport DA!

That's exactly what I was thinking. Canceling practice when you're struggling and it's also a big party weekend, doesn't make a lot of sense!
