Is there really a media bias against LSU?

There’s supposedly an anti-Mulkey piece coming out. As soon as the ladies knocked off Iowa, it seemed like LSU became the bully.

This calls into question:

The Will Wade saga

The Thamel hit pieces on Les during the 2011 season.

The constant war with Dale Brown.

Am I missing any more? If this isn’t a coincidence, I ask why? Why not a bias against another SEC school?

No. There people in the media that don’t like LSU and there’s a lot of people in media that really like LSU. Same with a lot of other big schools

The Globohomo Media is pushing Clark as the White Savior of the WNBA. If they hadn’t been pushing Bitchney Grindr as the face of the league, they wouldn’t have to dig so deep for fourth shots per game.

I’m familiar. What do you think Nat Oats should be fired for?

I don’t think so. Like another poster above me said, when you’re one of the top schools, you’re going to get some haters. It just comes with the territory. Now I do think that there are some journalists out there that specifically always dog on LSU (usually paper journalists).

But there are also a lot of journalists that love LSU, SVP for one. He took like two minutes out of one of his segment to say how incredible Tiger Stadium is, and basically how great LSU fans are

I say no. LSU is one of the biggest brands out there now. They love us. They may say controversial things about us and not like us but we are there and we are real and we are prominent.

Would love him as the LSU coach if he got his antics under control

There is no media bias against LSU.

Kim Mulkey is controversial because she wants to be. That is both good and bad. All I care about now is that she is BEST for LSUWBB and I support her fully.

It does hurt when former players openly criticize her though.

No, but there are a lot of people that don’t like LSU, both local and national, who are quick to pounce on any little thing they can.

Yes. This was highlighted when CBK was hired. First there was the article published about how LSU is paying him 10mil a year when the state is in such poverty - showing what else the University could use that money on. Did they have a piece about Bama? Georgia? No. Just LSU. Then the whole accent fiasco which STILL hasn’t gone away and is still mentioned. You could argue no this is bias against Kelly but he didn’t get that shite at ND.
You look at the “darlings” in various sports and many of them haven’t even earned that status - it’s just the media finding someone to love and it’s not LSU. Yeah the van Pelt’s of the world do love LSU at various times but it appears we are much more often the punch line than praised.

Whatever the Media want to say, I don't respect much of these splash making clowns.

If you want to be Honest, USC has that Bully Mentality if any school does.
