That thread after the Missouri game when he said lsu only had 1.33 more hits and his math was wrong

It's comical, Lester

He just roots against LSU and spins everything in a negative light. My favorite is the Chris Stanfield argument. Says he's a pop up hitter, meanwhile he's hitting .380 in conference play, leads the conference in doubles, and might hit one ball in the air every other weekend

I brought this up the other day about how hitters like Jared Jones are slumping because they are trying to do too much, and swinging at pitches out of the zone. Especially the high heat. Guys like Curiel, Dickinson, and Stanfield are less affected, so it's not necessarily the coaching.

We had several teams under Mainieri that the entire team seemed intent on hitting the first ball that came near the strike zone. I remember losing to UCLA in a game where hit a ton of pop ups and weak fly balls because could not lay off the pitches up in the zone. We lost to Stony Brook in the super regional for the same reason.

I think we'll get better as the season gets closer to the end and the magnitude of each at bat gets bigger.

Milazzo became the small ball king and turned around a disaster a couple years prior.

It happens I also admitted my math was wrong because I took numbers from an incomplete box score.

My prevailing point and instinct was right, though. The offense is overrated against conference arms

You guys make too much of a 9-hole hitter who literally has no serious future in baseball.

If being excited over an ok SEC player with limited hitting skills or upside who happens to be on a little heater is your thing, then float on baw

How’s your boys Jones, Milam and Larson doing in SEC play?

Well, at least you were 1-4
— just like those guys at the plate most nights

You post every time he flies out because you’re so desperate for your terrible takes to be relevant.

Oh I forget, wins hide deficiencies so hits, getting on base and scoring runs probably hides deficiencies too.

But we’re all still waiting on you to show us how everyone’s oB% went up 40 points in 2022

You might be waiting for a while. Judging by his math skills he probably doesn’t know what 40 points means.

He sure as shite hasn’t developed their bunting.

But hey, I guess asking players that have played SS and hit 3 hole their entire never being asked to bunt may be an uphill battle.

Why would we give a shite about this when he plays for LSU now? What he does in the future is no concern in how it helps LSU now.

He’s 6th in the conference in batting average in SEC play. You are a literal retard lol.

Nah, I really don’t care about that. We weren’t shite in 2022

You love to post misleading data and try to imply Jay is a wizard at offense. Not taking into account things like the transfer portal and general surge in offensive baseball in recent years.

I mean anyone can buy turn-key players with Lipsey’s checkbook. That doesn’t require skill

And it doesn’t take a genius to see that it’s swung to becoming an offensive sport more and more.

The thing you fail to acknowledge is that unless you win then none of it matters. Jay inherited and bought a team in 2023. He hasn’t even hosted any other year here, which means despite your metrics he wasn’t doing a good job at effecting Winning. His defenses were usually bad and the pitching wildly inconsistent because he couldn’t keep a pitching coach etc.

Either way he’s a 9-hole hitter for a reason.

tRant talks of him like he’s an All-SEC performer
