I hope so..he made his comeback..let's end it. Next year I hope not to hear anything about Saban and Miles or LSU fans hating Saban..its done. From now on...its LSU VS BAMA. End of story.

No, I still hate Saban, sorry.

But I do hate Bama more than Saban.

Wait, let me get this straight. Saban leaves after saying he is staying, and then does the same song and dance in Miami before ending up the second coming of Bear at bama. Then he comes back to our house, beats us on our field, and THAT is supposed to make everything ok?

Stop hating Saban? Then what are we supposed to call the Alabama game if it isn't the Saban Bowl? The Gump-Bowl or the Crimson Toilet Bowl?

We should all worship Saban and kiss his butt.

Allow me to clear up the "hate Saban" v. "jealous of Saban" saga, once and for all:

1. Saban is a very good football coach; I didn't say great. Depending on what he ultimately achieves this season could elevate that status. But he gave us 4 better-than-average to very good seasons as LSU, and 1 great season (2003). He had great moments, mostly in 2003, but he had an equal number of aweful moments in the 4 other seasons.

2. Most, if not all, LSU fans respect Saban's coaching abilities. We don't think they are superior to everyone else who has coached the game, but you feel good that he's prepared your team as much as possible and if the players decide to show up that day, the other team is going to have to beat you.

3. However, many, many fans, LSU and otherwise, despise the way Saban has handled the profession of coaching off the field. Besides the somewhat selfish way he handled the departure from LSU,and straight out intentional misrepresentations to the Miami Dolphins, he is a turd of a personality and a human being. He takes himself way too seriously. He doesn't know how to enjoy a victory, even within his 24 hour rule. And all of this wears on the players and they eventually respect his ability but think of him as a prick otherwise. In other words, they tolerate him.

4. Bama fans only care about #2, not #3. And they have every right to feel that way, just as all other fans in the world have the right to feel like #3, because it is the absolute, fair and balanced truth.

That is all.

It will never be over because people are fricking stupid, and can't realize that the man did what he thought was best for him and his family, no different than anyone else would have done.

Hopefully, even before the game was played, it was one of the most embarassing weekend ever for LSU fans. The national media dissecting the fans' hatred for Saban and subsequent inferiority complex with Bama combined with all those figs running around with Beat Saban shirts was a fricking disgrace.

We should rename our football stadium to "Nick Saban Stadium"!

I'll always hate Bama and Saban equally

I'm not nowhere obsessed with him like the media would like the ignorant masses (bama nation) to believe

The media, as well as people like the one who started this thread, will never let it die. SOS's cocks are playing UF this weekend and the media writes stupid articles and talking heads are blabbing the same crap. Most fans could care less but there will always be media and people who try to keep everyone else stuck in the past. Similar stuation for UF.

Of course I'm contributory since I posted on this thread. One way you might can tell it's about over is if someone starts a thread like this and gets ZERO replies.

It doesn't help when our stupid fans wear those stupid Saban is a Douche tee shirts and the student section scream F_ Saban. Most people I know, could care less about Saban.

sums it up perfectly. the hate saban thing is pure garbage spewing from underdeveloped minds. some of you folks are just pathetic. you think like juveniles and act accordingly and fall willingly into the media'a trap. to soothe your bruised ego's you do irreparable harm to the image of your state and a great university. you saban haters are an embarrassment to yourselves and to those who love LSU and believe in free will. when and if your balls ever drop why don't you just man-up and quit the whining. nuff said.
