Always hated this view point. Assuming there is a gross imbalance of poor calls or perhaps one really crucial call like the gfumble that wasn't you are demanding one team overcome more adversity than the other. Sure, you can overcome some things, but in games where the opponent is close in talent this extra help from officials can be the difference.

Remmeber those other jerseys ae talented also and will make plays.

It does, and it's a shame that maybe 30 total posters here are so loud with the whining that they set the tone for the other million or so tiger fans. Most of us can see a bad call but know the team blew 10 chances to win it under their own control and that is a much bigger deal.

Probably right. I’ve done some whining too. But I’m more pissed about the last 1:30 minutes of regulation, specifically our last offensive series than the “bad calls” and pacemaker punches.

Nationally I think the viewers are smart enough to see what transpired in that game to know LSU is not just whining as victims.

That would be the case by itself, but this is following the Bama cheats narrative, SEC cheats, blah blah blah. Move on tigers

The SEC is performing their own version of MK Ultra on the LSU football program. Quietly poking everybody involved with LSU including the fans to the point that we all go crazy and start lashing out and saying crazy shite. Then everybody in the nation looks at us like we're that uncle that everybody avoids at family gatherings.

Eventually they'll push us so far they'll have us committed and finally be rid of the scourge of Louisiana Sports forever.

Uncontested, Alabama wins 1,000 national championships in a row. Captain Orgeron returns as one of the Seven Horsemen saddled atop a 3-headed centaur of Les Miles, Steve Ensminger and BDP. Cats and dogs lay together. Mothers cry as their babies gnash their teeth on their burning nipples to parch their fired throats.

I have lived in a triangle from Panama City to Dothan, AL to Georgetown, GA since 1992. It is populated by Auburn, Alabama, Georgia, & Florida fans. Over the last 25 years, I have been privy to the reactions of all those fans. 3 out of the 4 groups feel just like LSU fans! They see us in the same boat...with Alabama in receipt of ALL of the benefits the SEC office can dole out! LSU is not alone in getting the shaft from the SEC...which is why the rest of the SEC schools, minus UA, should get themselves together.

Sometimes you just have to make the damn plays and quit bitching about everything else. Yea the refs sucked but it goes blown up when you are on the losing end. Could of won this game numerous times

This is true, but by this logic no one would ever have any grounds to complain about ANY injustice, bc there is always something they could have done differently at some point. I don’t think we should quietly accept bad officiating on those grounds.

I do agree that LSU fans whine about refs (and other things) too much. It’s the boy who cried wolf. This game here had a couple bad calls that went against us which sucks, but that’s football. Chris Childers on XM radio this morning acknowledged that, and my coworkers acknowledged that. Nothing more to say.

I will always be convinced the 2006 Auburn game was fixed. No other LSU game comes close. There have been some really bad calls here and there, but by and large they even out. 2006 Auburn was completely one-sided throughout. That’s the only game I’ve seen worth crying about and hanging billboards for.

Many fans on this board seem to watch LSU one sided. By that I mean they have their purple and gold glasses on and only see what they want to see.

Some how they only see the penalties and calls that go against LSU. They only see the no calls that go against LSU. The fact is in each and every game it goes both ways but the purple and gold glasses are preventing people from seeing it.

No different than when the media talks about LSU. According to this board they are the most hated team by media personality. Every crew that calls the game hates LSU and only want to see them loss. Every nationals pundit that talks about LSU only brings them up when talking about them negatively. The problem is none of this exist. They all talk just as positively about LSU as they do negatively. They do that with every team.

I’ve never been embarrassed to be an LSU fan but honestly over the last several years with the way this fan base has handled themselves I hate calling myself an LSU fan.

The victim mentality is nothing but a complete fricking embarrassment for the players and coaches on this team as well as the sane fans.

You mean the players that took to social media immediately following the game to bitch about the officiating?
Or the coach that repeatedly said the game should've ended in regulation because they shouldn't have put the second back on the clock all throughout his presser?

I'm amazed that your fanbase turned one of the greatest games ever into something ugly. I've not heard anyone talk about the effort or the great plays made on both sides. What happened after the game has been allowed to take greater significance than the greatest game in my lifetime and I'm 70 years old

I totally agree with all you said here. Classic victimization going on here. And as you said it's not good. O.K. for fans - all every fan base does is complain about the refs every game. But if that seeps into the program it is an issue.

Our team is not good enough to overcome bad officiating at critical moments of a game - we need to get better and the officiating needs to get better (giving the refs a huge benefit of doubt as to unfairness) - when that happens, LSU will be winning the close games by double-digit margins. For now, I am a frustrated Tiger fan who sees EVERY benefit of the doubt on scheduling, controversial calls, negative recruiting within our own state, AND players not making plays at critical moments all going against us. Naturally, it is a HUGE disappointment. If that’s whining, then I’m guilty too!

The only people that have the bitch arse victim mentality are the majority of lsu fans on this board, it’s not something seen on a national level. TigerRant isn’t that gotdamn popular. Get over yourself.
