You know not what you speak of.

lsu has 500 million in endowments

More like 700 million.

Also, not sure if applicable regarding endowment, but LSU's Fierce for the Future Fund raising Campaign which just ended raised $1,594,464,658.

The fanbase? How about asking all of our multi billion dollar oil companies first.

Which of those are privately owned by LSU Alums/fans?

This idea of fans putting pressure on other fans to pay money to outbid other fan bases to lure students to play sports for their college is drenched in moral hazard.

You felt pressure from my simply asking how LSU stacks up when it comes to contributions? Maybe its guilt.

Bayou Traditions donations

So what allows UGA and Bama and A$M continue to rake in so may top recruits? LSU's facilities are on par with theirs as far as I've heard. UGA was reeling in top recruits before they won a national title. Texas A$M hasn't won squat and produces average results (and has a fricked up culture). So what is the difference? It has to be cash.

My question is - Is LSU keeping up with them in the cash department to get our share of elite recruits? I don't know.

Better question is if we know all this as fact, why aren't we doing more to keep up? Time to stop bitching about what others are doing and start about what we are not. At least from the perspective of perception since most of us really "know" nothing. Just message board rumors. What about-isms aren't gonna fix the problem

Until all states have comparable regulation of NIL then there will be haves and have nots. The state of Texas has allowed school sponsored NIL collectives which is a game changer particularly considering the alumni of both Texas and TAM. Give it a couple of years and it's possible SMU becomes relevant again. We either keep up or get left behind.

Relax. We have a top 10 recruiting class currently and are top 5 or 10 every year.

we're never gonna have the resources that the Texas schools have or places likes USC, that's why those schools just happen to be on resurgences just as all the pay for play stuff came out, thats no coincidence

None are headquartered here and it’s not like the good ole days where these companies just throw money around at everything

I am confident that Jimbo would frick up a roster of nothing but five stars.

100,000 people donate $250 bucks that’s 25,000,000. With interest that should be enough to get and keep a roster full of studs.

So you are saying A&M (or any school) is using endowments to pay recruits? Please show us where you saw this. That can’t be true.
