That would be the only reason that the majority of losses would be predicted there
In the past, I think the majority of projections would give LSU the benefit of the doubt and factor in 1 or 2 wins just because the game was in Death Valley. Not so much with this year's projections.
My comments aren't aimed at the team or coaching. It's more directed at the people making the projections who have completely disregarded the advantage that is Tiger Stadium.

And I'm saying that IMO they aren't disregarding the Tiger Stadium advantage, but they are factoring coaching and they don't respect the head coach. As I said though, he has every opportunity to change that.

No way. It still shows up.
Less night games has certainly hurt it, but Auburn last year was rockin

For games vs. Alabama, and maybe Auburn/Florida, no. It is alive and well.
Otherwise, nobody else has reason to be afraid of Tiger Stadium.
This decade, I have been at games vs. Mississippi State, West Virginia, and Syracuse that were within 1 score in the 4th quarter and the stadium was half full, at best. TV announcers even commented about it. If half of your fanbase has better things to do than help the team pull through a close game in the 4th quarter, then your advantage is dead. Sorry.

But this year, on paper, Alabama and Georgia project to be significantly better than LSU to the point where a prognosticator would feel compelled to pick against LSU no matter where the game was being played.

Yes. On the way up it was rocking every game. After success became normal entitlement set in. After 2011 it became even worse where only the "big" games were where the effort/support was needed. Then the last 2-3 years expectations were lower and early season setbacks reiterated that point and most people arent willing to put up with a weekend of Baton rouge traffic compounded by gameday if the product is poor.

Tiger Stadium is a shell of it's former self.
The fans are privileged, whiney, and entitled.
Sure, on occasion it is still loud and has atmosphere but it's not what it was.
Some of the blame goes to not having an entertaining product in the form of the Miles "NOffense" and mediocrity but mostly it's the fanbase.

No, but your street cred as a poster on here sure is.

Tiger Stadium does not win games by itself. It is an advantage in close games. If it could win games by itself Curly Hallman may still be coach.

Tiger Stadium is rocking for big SEC games so I definitely think there is still an advantage when it comes to those type of games. As far as the other mediocre games, no, the stadium atmosphere is not near as intimidating.

Ed 0 let Troy beat us at home and ruin the longest OOC home winning streak. You tell me.

Opponents know they don't have to face the tiger anymore.

Hell No, it's always an advantage.

I feel like it's not the same as it used to be, but the doubtful outlook of our home schedule has more to do with the team than the atmosphere of the stadium.

It’s BEEN dead! It has been dead before the shrimp boat captain arrived . It started going to crap when Aleeva focused more on selling tickets to corporations then to true LSU fans. Aleeva then doubled down and ruined or at least drastically changed the tailgating environment which made the game day experience completely different. More people started staying home and our fans continue to scratch their heads about why people leave at halftime lol.

It's asleep. We can bring it back this season, as we have several huge games right there.
