In the past, the talking point for this year's schedule would be we are catching a break by having many of toughest opponents (MSU, Georgia and Alabama) at home. The talk would be that those teams would have to go into a hostile Death Valley and try to get a win.

Instead, the talk this year is 7-5 or 6-6 predictions. Baked into that prediction is LSU losing at least 3 home games. Is the Tiger Stadium mystique that far gone??

The 7-5 talk has nothing to do with Tiger Stadium. C'mon man.

No stadium is going to make a shitty team consistently beat good teams.

I am Not saying we’re shitty but we can be as rowdy a stadium that ever existed and it won’t compensate for a huge gap in quality.

At least not consistently.

It has been dead. The stadium is full for 1 half of 1 game every year.

How so? How many of those 5 losses are predicted to be Tiger Stadium?

When the team constantly fails to meet expectations, the excitement suffers.

Field a competent team that beats the shite out of the opponents we're supposed to beat the shite out of and the stadium will respond.

If we're 5-1 heading into the Georgia game, the stadium will be rocking.

If we're 7-1 heading into the bama game, the stadium will be unhinged.

The 7-5 talk is all because of the lack of respect for the head coach. Nothing more, nothing less. The schedule offers him plenty of opportunities to change that narrative. The most difficult games are in Tiger Stadium. That would be the only reason that the majority of losses would be predicted there.

for big time games there will always be an advantage especially if the game is at night.

For the non big time games I don't see a huge advantage outside of the normal home field
