After watching that clip 20 times I’m 87% convinced that he concussed himself by whipping his head back to sell that contact.
There simply wasn’t enough force on the original face to chest contact. It was the violent head whip. He sold it so hard he jiggled his fricking brain lol

It was very quick. He walked up and asked one of the people attending the player something and then turned around and headed back to the bench

Kentucky didn't want to expose him to concussion protocal and potentially have him miss multiple games.

Nah, I think that was just a "flinch" reaction because he wasn't expecting it at all. Just like if you were walking in an unfamiliar room and something hanging from the ceiling unexpectedly hits you.
That happened so quickly he didn't have the wherewithal to try to "sell" a foul. Wheeler is 5'9 (at best), 180 lbs. Reid is 6'11 240. That is a small guy running into a much larger brick wall with no forewarning whatsoever.
Initially I figured he just had the wind knocked out of him. Then he wobbled off the court.

Any idea what happened to the 2nd UK player injured. Fould under the basket and then play stopped for an injured UK player in the Southeast portal.
If that was Tay-Tay it was cramps.

Videos of the pick where he was injured have been REMOVED!! GONE!! Is it because he has a serious injury? Or more likely removed because video would show JC of UK was more to BLAME for poor coaching!!

I'll admit I'm wrong and apologize if I am.
Look, if you've ever had a head injury and had to be moved you know how it feels - and how it looks. I'm saying he would have been carried off on a stretcher, not supported by a trainer and a manager still carrying the gatorade.
To each his own but I just don't believe the kid.
God we have some weird arse fans

The training staff would've looked at him, cleared him, and put him back in the game.

That was an old school hard pick
I mean...not really. It looked like a pretty standard, legal by today's standards, pick to me.
When I think of an old school pick, I think of someone like Rick Mahorn stepping into it and really laying someone out.
Reid moved laterally into the pick and was totally stationary before contact was made.
I'm wondering if Wheeler hit his head on the floor because from the angles I saw his head hit Reid in the chest.
