That's interesting because according to their 40 yard times in the Spring Shepard was the sixth fastest Tiger on the team.

Last night on the Cox replay, Jordy said he had just spoken with one of the trainers and was told that PP ran a 4.3 back in the spring and Shep ran a 4.4. I believe in today's Advocate, it mentions that PP ran a laser timed 4.37 back in the spring.
I'd be willing to be that Graff may be faster than Shep as well. Also, I believe Mo was the 4A state champ in the 100m. We gots lots of fast fockers on our team.

Do you guys realize that all four secondary defensive starters were out and tons of special teams players. Your comments are as if pp and shep were on a level field_ you guys are grasping at straws this year and should be concerned about your interior lineman that suck!!
Wait till they face real competition before you compare them to the great ones.... Its a tad early yet

The thing with PP is that he is fast and big, so arm tackling will not bring him down!!!

Shepard looks like the fastest because of his ability to make defenders miss. Don't know if he would beat PP in a straight ahead race, and he probably couldn't beat every other Tiger in that, but on the field with the ball in his hands, it is a different story.

No we thought that they played against the 2001 Miami Canes team
There seems to be an incessant need on the part of many folks here to want to feel insecure about the LSU team's and players' abilities.
Maybe you expect a Title every year - (remember you have no control over the wins OR losses) but if you don't have optimism every fresh year you are only creating and prolonging your misery.
