Among the standouts he has tutored include BYU running back Luke Staley, who was the recipient of the Doak Walker Award as the nation's top running back and led the nation in scoring in 2001; Troy Edwards, Louisiana Tech's 1998 Biletnikoff Award honoree as the top collegiate receiver in the country; Louisiana Tech quarterback Tim Rattay, who finished 10th in balloting for the Heisman Trophy in 1999; and Boston College quarterback Glenn Foley, who finished fifth in the Heisman Trophy voting in 1993.

Crowton has coached seven quarterbacks who have gone on to be selected in the NFL Draft
Special team toss up?????

Only if you kick it out of bounds

Herm Edwards comment

Said the only thing he has ever seen that compares to Tiger stadium was the NFC championship game in Philly.

Mendoza (hot Latina reporter)said nothing she ever seen compares not even the opening ceremony of the olympics.

Wish I could have been there, awesome national exposure for the fans.

Why does Shep get a pass

Posted by btrtgr on 9/19/10 at 10:55 am
He has more drops than receptions on the season, yet everyone wants to nail Jefferson to the cross and give shep the heisman.
WOW

First you have the subject line alone, I thought this was a Reggie Bush comparison thread, then if that wasnt enough you have a couple folks that actually would agree to do so.

For the kicker, Saban will be 78 in 20 years....sometimes things sound better in your heads guys.

Again WOW
Terrible I mean we only scored on every possesion but one....
Would rather stick my ***k in a light socket rather than have whats his name back

I am fairly certain you know what the intent of my post was, don't play coy. The point was made and made clearly, Miles had a better performance and gets nailed to the cross when his predecessor was praised.

Personally I am not a Miles supporter per se I support the current team and Miles just happens to be the coach of it....I noticed you neglected to mention ugay hanging half a hundy on us that season.

I guess its your turn to point out it was only 45.....see how your point of "quality losses" can be easily twisted around, all points can be twisted.

Bingo, The 04 Vandy game and it was coached by everyones favorite mancrush in his last season at LSU. The general mindset after the game was we dominated...notice the difference?????

Trivia time

Imagine in respect to last nights game if Vandy had:

double the yards rushing
well over double their passing yards
score over double the amount of points
then dominate the time of possession

At the same time LSU would:

put less points on the board
have less passing yards
have less rushing yards
have less sacks
and for icing on the cake only convert 1 third down

Ladies and Gentlemen what would you have?
I hear you, parlay that with Tenn making one of those field goals and we would have made the SEC CG
” The guy is a freak. Freak. He ran that 4.3 when he weighed 220 lbs. Honestly, this guy would outrun [former LSU sprint champ] Trindon [Holliday] in the 40. In the 100, it wouldn’t be close, and Trindon would probably get him in the 60, but in the 40, Patrick’s gonna win. Trindon would be so mad if he heard me say that.”

Quote from Moffit, I am going to go out on a limb and say he is faster than Shep as well
