I’m going to reserve judgment until we go against Bama’s defense. 2019 LSU carved up Bama’s defense. That was when I knew they were legitimately great.

This offense has beaten up on a lot of lousy defenses. The fact that we only have 2 legitimate WRs scares me a bit. 2019 had 3 great wideouts, and that made them indefensible. Kyren Lacy has shown flashes, but he’s been very inconsistent. He’s not a great wideout until proven otherwise.

Auburns Defense isnt the greatest, but they held Georgia in check. They arent a terrible Defense. We also moved the ball well at times against a pretty good Florida St Def.

If we had FSU, Auburn or Mizzou's defense we would be undefeated. All of those defenses held some good teams in check, and our offense looked great against them.

When you say 2 legitimate you mean 2 of the top 10 in the nation? I’d say that’s pretty good

If your measuring stick for a great offense is 2019 LSU, you are going to be disappointed by a lot of great offenses.

Kyren Lacy is good. He's dropped balls but that's fixable/mental. But we've got a surprisingly loaded and versatile backfield, the best running QB in the nation, mason Taylor and other freaks all with incredible protection up front. You could not create a better offense on NCAA football. 2019 is legendary but this is as good as it gets 99% of the time in college ball.

Auburn had the #25 scoring D before we played them and were giving up just 3 more points than Bama. You saw the results. Now they have the 53rd ranked scoring D. We're more than halfway through the season. LSU's offense is legit.

Why is it crazy to say we only have 2 legitimate wide receivers?

Malik Nabors and Brian Thomas Jr are great, but everyone else has been pretty meh.

The answer is ...possibly. What worries me is that our 3 of our 4 conference wins came against the 4 worst teams in the conference (excluding Vanderbilt). Bama, Tennessee and Texas A&M all have good defenses. We will see...

You don’t just luck into the numbers this offense is putting up. This offense can run with anybody in the county and it starts up front. Good luck finding a better group of guys on the line
