long as LM maintains that Attitude, and doesn't bring the LSU offensive playbook into the 21st century, he will gradually lose one more game each year than the previous year, and will finally be fired as LSU's coach, and instead of going out with a legacy of success, he will be fired and despised at what he has done with his stubborness in the last years of his contract.

He has a better record than last season. He didn't get fired.

Wouldn't matter. Les doesn't let any coor. fully install everything they want to do. I've never seen any of our OC's show the offensive schemes they're known for while coaching under Les. Remember Gary Crowton? You should of seen the offenses he ran at Tech and BYU. He gets to LSU, and the offense looks nothing like the ones he coached everywhere else. Same with Cam. So no, Tony Peterson couldn't come in and make a difference under Les.

No way you can convince some people of that.

It's an urban legend. Les calls all plays...... Period.

Hire TP and pay him $400k. He's making $200K at La Tech; you'll be able to give raises to the other coaches who deserve it.

More like give him 700k, but that's still less than half of what they pay Cam this year for this shitastic offense and at least 300k less than any year Cam has been here. We are paying Cam out the arse on name recognition alone. His money was already set like that back when we first brought him on.

Our offense this year has been, 1. run LF, 2. throw deep. Guice has got some yardage in the second half of games as well as Williams, but the offense has pretty much been the LF show.

Look at Oklahoma who took a young 30 something OC from East Carolina, a walk on QB, who is really damn good but was a walk nontheless, and completely turned their offense around. They went from being the Perine show with awful passing last year, to one of the most balanced and potent offenses this year. They lost nothing in the run game, and actually improved dramatically. Same on defense. The defense is actually much better than last year and is one of the best defenses in all of college ball when you factor in the offenses they play.

He could come in and make a difference on what matters most, and that is QB coaching.

Yes - CC's offense is too complicated for our QBs.

Lol. You were wrong then and you are wrong now. Its hilarious all you kids and underdeveloped adults have all the answers. Sure, let's completely change our identity...we won't play power football and won't be able to effectively run the spread for a few years....secretly, this is the ploy to finally get LSU below .500. LSU doesn't need mass changes. They need a qb that can execute this offense...and some changes on route selection and to mix it up more and be less predictable. LSU COULD have a great offense with this philosophy with minor changes and a competent qb. But, I really we have the Xbox generation out there.

its pretty effin simple to see that he gives a list of plays that are "approved", he does NOT and I repeat NOT keep his hands out of the cookie jar

How? Give me one good reason how I'm threatened by the younger generation. That generation has completely changed some beliefs from my generation. I always believed under promise, over deliver. They believe over promise, under deliver. Which philosophy you think wins in the end?

Maybe a better question is how would Driskel have done with this same LSU offense? If we had a QB that could make the throws, would a change be necessary. Would it be more like Mett's last year?

Let what sink in? That they scored less than 20 points a ccouple times down the stretch and that southern miss beat the shite out of them? Yes I agree that's embarrassing. What how LSU plays offense tomorrow night you stupid arse. The opponent does matter.

He is absolutely good enough, the question surrounds how willing is Les to adapt the offense. The NFL game is moving to a hybrid offense where you are under center and also spread out, he needs to get that figured out.

We don't need to move to wide open spread offense, however, we need to make sure it is in the arsenal.

1900 passing
2300 rushing
40 tds

Vs

4200 passing
1300 rushing
55 tds

That's the difference in offensive production of the two teams.

And he is correct. I think our passing plays suck, the timing of plays called during games suck. Les has to make a change ASAP.
