A winning record. If there are 2 losing seasons in a row, he is gone.

Ok, you got me. I made a typo from my cell phone. We are all so lucky to have your valuable input to this sports forum.

Well be better almost by default next year plus will have cupcakes games back so hard to see him being in a position to be gone after next season. 2022 will have expectations attached though.

I would pay more attention to his recruiting classes.

This and coordinator/coaching changes.
We'd have killed Chavis if he'd ever allowed a defense to be this bad. If O is too stubborn to make a change, then they'd better produce. If he stays loyal and there's no improvement, he AND them need to go.

He should be. If Burrow had never arrived, he would have been gone already. He has been revealed.

Realistically it’s not about how many games he wins or loses but who he beats and loses. And about how badly he loses. It’s about recruiting. And maybe more importantly how many fans buy tickets. In the end this LSU football is a big business. Profit and loss loom large no matter what any one desires.

that 3 years would devastate the program for 8. No way he isn’t fired after another year like this.

compared to about 15 guys in the 2017 class.
2017 was Les Miles class with Aranda and co. Mosses was one of the big misses in that class when Miles was fired. You want an elite recruiter? Les Miles was elite. That just wasn’t here either. He pulled kids to Co from California in the early ‘90’s when they won their championship.

For all the shite Miles was, his recruiting was elevated. The defections after 2016 took a huge toll in the trenches. That’s part of the issue...

You are right. The man just won a national championship and built arguably the best college football team ever.
