So what - I made a mistake. It happens. With LSU playing FSU and QB shining I definitely followed it and FSU got screwed. I guess you win the internet today. LOL

NDame is in the semifinals simply because UGA lost their starting qb for the playoffs. That is primarily why UGA lost to ND.

Not sure where you got that from. This link has them at 57th.

I got it here

https://www.teamrankings.com/college-football/ranking/season-sos-by-other?date=2024-12-17

Should have had 18th.

Those SOS are including the national championship games which helps boost them. For example, if you go to the 2018 season, on December 15th before they played the national championship game, their SOS was 26th.

Fair, I missed that.

2012 - 7th (that stayed the same)
2018 - 26th
2020 - 13th

2024 - 21st

Alway feel free to double check me, I screw up regularly

Stop making excuses. It’s exhausting.

Just call a spade, a spade.

Plus, we did not play USC on the road. We were not at The Coliseum. Geez

The SEC had a down year and people think it's going to regress from here on out. QB play as a whole was down in the SEC this year except some bright moments.

There are a lot of young teams with first time QBs this year. These young teams will be a force next year.

The portal crippled a lot of teams the past couple of year and teams have had to play catch up. League expansion created a bloodbath in our conference. These teams will be experienced and ready next season.

You guys are in for a rude awakening next game. You're not good as you think you are. You lost to NIU. You don't get over that. You played a below Georgia standards team that was handicapped with a second string QB and you still struggled on offense. Your team has the luckiest path ever to go this deep in a playoff run. Just FYI the SEC was weak this year and not good.

The SEC champion with a QB making their first start ever....

The problem with this excuse is that Georgia's backup QB played well enough for Georgia to win that game yesterday. It was the fact that at least yesterday, ND was better than Georgia in all phases of the game. ND got 7 on a kickoff return, and its defense pushed Georgia around when it mattered. then ND ran like 7 minutes off the clock pushing Georgia's defense around. Those were the critical matchups that won the game for ND, not some singular weakness by the Georgia QB.

And as for the QBs, Georgia's backup had 234 yards passing, and ND's starting QB had 90 yards passing. By almost every stat, Georgia's offense (including its QB) outperformed ND's offense. The critical weaknesses were Georgia's defense and special teams.

The backup QB had 1 nice drive against UT, the opening drive of the 2nd half. Didn’t do anything after that.

UGA’s offense was 3/12 on 3rd down and 0/3 in 3rd.

ND scored 1/2 TDs on a 13 yard drive because of a fumble.

UGA turned the ball over in downs and fumbles 5x and scored 10 points.

Two teams that ND beat handily on the road?

Now, we don't have to oversell the Ws.

Notre Dame was in a dogfight late in the 4th quarter in both those games.

Notre Dame went up 20-13 vs A&M with under 2 minutes left in the game.

Vs USC, it was 35-28 with under 4 minutes to go in the 4th and then the USC QB threw back to back 100 yard pick 6s.

The SEC Champ with a backup QB. How would LSU fare with a week to get AJ Swan ready instead of Nuss?

Notre Dame had a cupcake schedule, they always do

Notre Dame is better with NIL with the Sec and other teams watered down.

They lost to niu this season. They had a weak schedule. They beat an overrated IU team and a georgia team playing with a freshman backup qb. Georgia made some extremely unfortunate mistakes to help out ND on top of simply playing bad as well...ND isnt going to win the natty. Im pretty confident of that.

BK left after 5 straight 10-11 win seasons .He left ND a gold mine and in
Freemans 1st 2 years managed to lose 2-3 games each year.BK didn`t
lose to the Marshalls or Northern Ill. of the world.Don`t give me that BS
that he is a better coach,he underachieved his 1st couple of seasons where
as BK overachieved with what he took over at LSU.

Edit: Freeman just beat the SEC champion by 13

Playing against a backup QB and only passing for 90 yards. ND offense sucks but the defensive scheme and attitude is great.
