I've listened to interviews with Miles recently and noticed that his speech has improved significantly. Listening to him on Scott Van Pelt's show, he sounds, dare I say, articulate. He didn't have a "want" for anything. Is he on medication?

I have noticed this as well. Kudos to Miles.

I think he just lets his guard down with SVP and shoots the shite. If you've ever heard Les talk in private you'd know he's more like the guy on the SVP show vs. the guy at PCs.

Miles is a terrible public speaker and tries to watch everything he says. When he's on SVP he's relaxed and just talks and cuts up.

He has to do that during the season. Not everything can be public knowledge. Some questions call for answers that he cannot give. He then has to struggle to say something without answering the question. I know I could not do it, so that's why I don't say shite when Miles comes up with those head-scrathing answers.

Correct. I've heard Les speak in a relaxed environment...he is completely coherent and entertaining/witty.

He did a great job at the Spring Luncheon at Drusilla Seafood.

If he's not talking at a presser, he can turn off the coachspeak and sound just fine.

Thanks for posting the link to the interview. I missed it when it aired.

And also at the Bayou Recruiting Bash and the TigerTour banquets - Crescent City Tigers Sports Banquet in July at the Hilton.

I always thought Miles manner with the media is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY overrated.
After all, what COUNTS is how he talks to his team in the locker room, in practice, and on the sidelines.

I didn't hear the interview with SVP, but I noticed his speech being more fluid during the spring game when the field/sideline reporter chatted with him.

When you're having to defend a defenseless situation (ala Crowton), you can retreat into a safe zone and sound terrible. If you don't believe me, listen to Barry this afternoon.

No thanks. I can no longer tolerate the cadence of his voice much less the BS it spouts.
