I cant see a 1st team sec movin to bench. Now him being able to take breaks will be nice
If he comes back I see him being considered for SEC player of the year.

I think Hamilton left because he was married with like 4 kids. Mormon. Had to get paid.

I'm pretty sure Hamilton wasn't Mormon. I don't think he had 4 kids either. He got married either during last season or right after the Oregon debacle.
CJJ will have to re-recruit JOB to come back. He should be able to kill it next year because he'll face a lot more single teams. When he was guarded one-on-one this season, he pretty much couldn't be guarded.

That's right, he has never said. He's a thoughtful guy, seems intelligent, he won't go.
He's gonna be great for us next year.

I heard it mentioned that he may get offered close to half a million dollars to play in Europe, it's not NBA money but that's still a lot of money. If that's the case than you always have to view the other factors as well.

i think he's gone and have thought so for a while (hope im wrong) even if he is not drafted he will get paid overseas.
Posted on 3/15/13 at 6:45 pm to Ignignot
I doubt it. He won't be drafted IMO.

No way he should go... work to do.

I hope he comes back. He isn't ready to go pro. He plays under the rim for the most part an while he can go on tears other times he just gets lost

I love how people say he isn't ready. How many guys leave before they are "ready". Thousands

... he no ready , brah ... no ready no go ...
Posted on 3/15/13 at 7:41 pm to Jwodie
He ain't ready Freddy! And may never be good enough to play pro ball.

If he comes out this year, he won't be drafted.

There's no way that a college guy with no European experience will get that type of money.
That would be the contract a team in Turkey or Spain offers to a guy who proves himself at a Euroleague-level team as a rotation player. Think of someone like Lonny Baxter, Daniel Ewing, or Lynn Greer. Someone like Bo McCaleb, who is coming off a star season will make up to 1.2 million or so, while a former NBA player like Vujacic or Kirilenko (last year) will make in the 2-3 range.
I bet JOB III makes no more than 150 while playing in a poor league like Serbia, Germany, or if he is lucky, France.
This also isn't a great time for European basketball because only Russia and Turkey have a ton of money. Spanish league is also doing well. Greece and Italy are sinking due to the recession.

A HS sophomore was offered 750k/year to play for an Italian team.

Johnny has come a long way this year. He became much more of a team player, improved his passing, inside moves, etc. That said he won't make it as a pro player without a lot more improvement. The main thing that drives me crazy is him wanting to shoot that fade away even when he doesn't have to. His outside shot would be so much better if he would just take lessons from Stringer and go straight up and down. If a 5'9" player can get off his jump shot without fading away, then why does a 6'9" player have to? He also misses many shots inside that he shouldn't. Time and time again he will make a good move and have a fairly easy shot but then miss it. If he corrects those things he will be awesome next year. And of course not being double teamed all the time will help also.

He might get drafted in the 7th round

Is that a Matt Moscona reference you heard? Because I'm pretty confident he pulled that number out of thin air.
