We're going to crush them and snatch that chain.

Actually I'd rather play in that game and lose then another no name OOC game. Losing on the road to a likely top OOC 5 team hurts your playoff chances exactly 0%.

If you're gonna lose one, lose one early. But cancel??? Gtfo with that bs. Playing a team of that caliber that's not in your conference is a blessing... especially if you win. Don't be skeered!

Refresh my memory. What was the outcome the last time we played Miami?

It sure helped us get into the title game in 2007 when we had two losses, but a great W over a highly ranked Virginia Tech early in the season. It's exciting to play really good teams early in the season and it gives you a good idea of where you stand. Also, many thought we had no chance of losing to Troy this year. That didn't work out for us well either.

No there not. They will play two more games against ranked opponents. Just beat one in Iowa, and probably a ranked team in Big Ten Champ. They win those four they will be in for sure.

Chill out ND isn’t a big win. ND is a really bad team living on media puff.

This, I'll respect Miami when they go toe to toe with Clemson or Bama.

So far a laundry list of weak teams and ND. I'm not impressed with ND at all.

Playing Oregon in 2011 set the tone for the best regular season in LSU history,

I came here to say this. Preparing for that game improved our defense's approach and set the tone for the rest of the year. That year is the last time LSU beat the Gumps.
