Only if the games are at the Superdome

1. LSU should NEVER play a game versus an FCS team even Louisiana FCS teams.
2. LSU should play one LA team but an FBS team every year in TS. That would be ULL, Tech, ULM, and yes Tulane. But those games must be played in TS.

Yes, should play them on Thanksgiving weekend every year. 2 in DV one in dome. Good experience in Dome before playoffs. If they are good then you beat a top25 team. If they are bad then you get a cupcake before SECCG.

There's no reason to play College Football at Pan American or Tad Gormlay

LSU plays opening game against TU.
- play in the dome
- LSU gets more than 60% of split, since most of crowd will be LSU.
- LSU gains road game experience.
- helps LSU recruit in NOLA area.
- money stays in LA.

Upon victory should the winner be allowed to plant the flag. Lol

if you beat Tulane, you beat a G5 team that doesn't carry too much weight. if you lose to Tulane, you significantly hurt your record and strength of and all that statistical bullshite.
Didn’t seem to matter for Notre dame after they lost to NIU

Tulane on rivalry week is much better than Oklahoma on rivalry week.
If you beat a #17 Tulane it’s good for your SOS, if you beat a bad Tulane team it’s just another free easy win. If Tulane beats LSU it’s gonna be on a year where Tulane is having a great season and LSU is down. It won’t keep LSU from the CFP.
Yall can argue all you want but this game belongs on the schedule in the final week of the season. The rest of the country is playing a legit rival so why not us? Eventually Oklahoma will resume bedlam with OSU

I'd rather play Tulane than some of the other non-conference games we play. Their program seems to be on an upward trajectory so I think it's a good idea.

I'd play Tulane at Yulman if it means we stop the labor day weekend neutral site games for good.

Put them on the list of revolving Louisiana schools that we play every year so that we play them 1x every 5-8 years. I'd rather watch LSU play Tulane than Southeastern or ULM or Grambling/Southern or McNeese.
The state schools need the money. Tulane does not. Also, Tulane left the SEC, and as far as I know, has never looked back at doing so.

I would hate to open the season with a loss to Southern given the way BK's LSU teams have started the past 3 seasons.

Time to bring back this rivalry. home and Home in Tiger Stadium and The Dome. Time to give the fans back a Real Rivalry that we want to see,

What about this do same thing Notre dame and navy does for even year games at neutral sites
@ Superdome:
Tulane is the designated home team and AAC controls tv broadcasting and keeps all tv revenue
Ticket revenue shall be split 50/50 or 60% LSU 40% Tulane

Rotate home and dome every year. I experienced both as a little kid. It was awesome and look forward to getting fricked up in the dome and beating Tulane as an adult.

While Kelly is coach we need to schedule Southern for every season opener
And they will still find a way to lose

play Tulane during rivalry week like the rest of the country mostly does.
quote:* Georgia plays OOC Georgia Tech to close the season.
Would be okay with this, but SEC is sticking with LSU-OU for now.
* Florida plays OOC Florida State to end the season.
* LSU needs to play OOC Tulane to end the season.
OR........
The SEC Office needs to schedule Oklahoma with Missouri and Arkansas with LSU to close the season. (On Saturday NIGHT, NOT that Black Friday afternoon abomination)
