With Saban getting older and probably retiring in the next couple years, would it be smart to go ahead and lock down O for the next 10 years while the price would still be relatively low to keep the LSU to Bama boomerang that Saban pulled on us from happening again> Thoughts?

And pay him $1 more than Jimbo, just to show A&M.

LMAO...while this year is a pleasant surprise I would like a better CEO in charge of LSU football.

frick no. I'm an O supporter and I say hell no.

I wouldn't even try to lock down Saban for that long. That's just dumb. A&M is crazy to give Jimbo that long of a contract.

There's a million other things wrong with this post, but this isn't what happened at all.

No but it would be good for recruiting if you stop bashing him.

Look man, I really didn't think O had a 4-0 start in him. I still doubt he will build a championship caliber team, but I would love to watch him prove me wrong.

That said. God no. Why extend him. At this point who do we need to worry about sweeping in and stealing him? What has he done to warrant an extension?

Let the man hang a few banners before you build his damned statue.

Is this a fricking joke? Which other team wants him? Is this no longer his dream job?

There is still a distinct possibility that we go 8-4 this year. Our offense is the worst in the SEC. I’m sure you are trolling.

Isn't that why we got stuck with Les for so long, too quick to give an extension.

First, nobody is coming after him...EVER. Second, let the season play itself out, they don't hand conference titles and playoff berths in September.

He's off to a great start, but you've got to finish to be elite.
