Yeah you know me. I guess we will see who is right huh. I'll gladly eat crow if LSU makes an elite 8. Hell I'll eat crow if they make a sweet 16.

We do not have players on this team that can create off the dribble on a consistent basis. So, we need a creative scheme in our offensive half court sets. This is where WW needs improvement IMO.

I agree with us needing more creative sets. But Adam Miller was going to be the guy that was our finisher/iso/create off dribble guy. Would be nice to have a few but you are going to have an elite defense just having one guy like Miller would be making a HUGE difference.

How is this the year to show the ceiling?

We lost 55% of our scoring last year and then 2/3 of the guys we brought in to try and bridge that gap have been hurt.

ok, but there's constant roster turnover on college teams.

Now yes, injuries can hurt, but we need to have some depth to fill in and not fall off a cliff. Coaches have to have a plan B for injuries, or even bad foul trouble for their important players.

You know, actually adapt and coach.

Which is why even good coaches have bad years. Coach K missed the tournament last year.

Auburn was 13-14 and would have missed the tournament if they were “ineligible” shite they were 4th in the SEC and 11-7 they year they went to the final 4.

Turnover happens. You do your best to rebuild year after year, but losing Miller for the season and Pinson for this stretch fo games is a lot to overcome. When your already trying to patch over roster issues.

You’re living in a fantasy world we’re just “good coaching” can overcome any issue.

No. We are getting our first taste of having yearly NCAA tournaments. Something that I’ve never seen in the 30 years I’ve been alive

Absolutely. I don't ever want to fire Wade unless he was caught doing something or the program totally tanked. I think he is a good coach. I also don't believe like the Wade knob polishers that he is the greatest coach since John Wooden either.

It’s year 5, and I’ve already explained in another post.

of course, but good coaching can maximize what you have. And I'm not seeing any adjustments or adaptation to the roster we have, given the injuries.

It's the same stuff I've seen in past years, where we had elite guard play. We don't have elite guards now, so we need to try something different on offense.
