Is it just me...

Or does it seem as if the national media/talking heads sort of just let the TAMU game fall by wayside after all the other big games and stories this weekend?
No one seems to be talking about how good LSU defense looked, how Leavitt performed, overall gameplan and bounce back after OM with injuries to boot...
Maybe they are chalking it up to TAMU being as bad as they are but my goodness this game was a shot in the arm for a team that answered almost every (and to be fair they are valid and some are still out there) point of concern with this team.
Let 'em think whatever, just keep winning games. Geaux Tigers

The narrative is that LSU did a good job bouncing back but my oh my does A&M have problems..

Short answer: Media thinks TAMU sucks and the win says more about how bad they are vs how good we are so little coverage.
Long answer:
We will be facing headwinds in the media with Kiffin as our HC. The whole machine wants to hate on him so they aren’t going to give us tons of grace after a loss like OM. The media are whores too, they follow the brightest bulb and story. Notice how they stopped talking about virtually everyone in the B10 after OSU lost even though we know OSU is a Natty contender through and through.

Agree, my coworkers are mostly Aggies and they are all in despair. Cant say I am not enjoying it.

They are likely holding their buy-in until we beat a good team. I'm still not convinced we've beaten anybody good yet. When we beat Alabama, they'll change their tune. Unfortunately, I think we are in limbo until then.

LSU was the media darling in terms of on field performance after the Clemson blowout..(unless you are just one of those fans who is of the perpetual mindset that "LSU never gets respect."). That's because LSU blew out a (then) top 25 team. A month later its becoming clearer that Clemson is not very good.
Had LSU beat a top-10 A&M team by 29 points you'd hear more celebration. But A&M losing on the heels of getting dominated, at home, by Kentucky lightens the outside impact of how good LSU's win was. That's just human nature.

I think it’s similar to how A&M pushed LSU’s shite in last season.
Good win, but my god is the opposing team simply not what it was thought to be at the beginning of the season/preseason.

Haven't beaten a single team with a pulse yet, sure great comeback against OM.

After Texas A&M lost to Kentucky, the matchup was no longer intriguing. If ESPN/ABC knew that was going to happen, they would've threw our game in the 11am slot and put Tex/Tenn at 6:30pm 2 weeks out. We got lucky and still got a night game out of a bad matchup... So im not gonna complain about game coverage

Might be that they don’t want to look like morons after talking up how good tFaggies and Reed were all pre season.

Clemson is 3-1 2-0 in the ACC and their defense has given up 6 points in the last 7 quarters with the last game being a short week literally on the other side of the country.
Dont sleep on them vs Miami. They have settled on a qb, have an extra day to prepare, and the game is at Clemson. It will be much closer than people are expecting.
