I think Florida. Texas had trouble on defense with West Virginia. Florida's offense is not good, but they could score on Texas. I don't know how well Texas would do against their defense. Herman is a great game planner, so maybe he could make it happen. But who knows.

I'd say it'd be a push, UT's offense is legit, and florida's defense is legit.

On a neutral field it would be god awful close.

I guess we're about to find out. The venue is different so it makes it a little harder to compare. Plus Texas got a garbage time TD to make the scoreboard look prettier for them.

Lots of other factors, but I'd say if we beat Florida by 7 or less then Florida is better. By 8-14, they're about the same. By 15+ then I'd say Texas is better.

But it really matters more what Texas does against OU.

I don't think that you understand the transitive property. It sounded good though.

I understand it just fine. May have not understood the OP.

Defensively, Florida is much better than Texas.

But offensively, Texas is far better than Florida so the Gators would be in big trouble if they are behind by 2 tds.

This actually would make a great independence bowl.

Texas has a decent front 7 but secondaries aren’t even comparable. Florida way better.

Texas has no one like Zuniga. If our line can block him and Florida’s other DEs, I think we win comfortably.

The transitive property does not apply to college football. As much as we would all like it to.

We play Florida every year so we know what we are dealing with.....

Yes. Florida’s defense is miles above Texas's defense. Florida is also better coached.

Its one of those typical Mullen teams where their defense keeps the game close and then their offense can grind out a win. If LSU can score points and not turn the ball over.. We will beat the brakes off them.

Because LSU-UF usually tends to be a nail biter

I think both Texas and LSU had key players injured in that game.
It was a tough physical game.
Texas Oline is a strength and better than Fla Oline
Fla D gets edge but I think they are quicker not necessarily as big
Ehlinger is a better QB as he can beat you with his legs and arm

I expect final scores in the 20’s. Damn we owe them a really good curb stomping though

Its gonna be a dog fight just like that game but with a lower score. We pull away late on a huge play from Jefferson.

Vegas is begging people to bet on Florida. That typically bodes well for the favorite.
