What's yall's opinions on F. King's job security? Since it seems like the Board of Supervisors is calling the shots now I think it's only a matter of time before F King gets forced out as well. I think F. King is the root of the problem, and I think the board of supervisors sees that as well. What's your take?

Probably one of those we aren’t going to renew your contract type things.

It'll happen, but may take a while longer. I think the days of him meddling in athletic dept. affairs are over though with the hiring of Woodward.

There is a larger component to removing F King than just firing him since he is a Gov appointee, but yes, he will be gone soon. Forces are underway to remove him. But like the move from Alleva to Scott Woodward, he will (probably) not be removed before a suitable replacement has been locked down. The adults are in charge now!

Yes. But he is also the type guy who can be compartmentalized until someone has to pull the trigger.

How many of these threads do we need? He just got a raise and extension. The big move has been made. There’s more to running LSU than the basketball coach friends

Yeah I'm well aware. I'm a student here. I think he's lowering the academic standards of LSU as well with the holistic admission system he implemented. Changing the admissions system to holistic is a lot better headline than changing the minimum ACT score, which is what's happening in reality. We don't need any more people coming here and wasting TOPS or donor dollars for a year or two then dropping because they can't handle the course load.

Yes, Lipsey will make another power move and King will be gone in a few weeks. No sources just my prediction.

Won't be "fired" but I expect he will be taking a new job in the not to distant future.

Moscona thinks he's safe for now because he's aligned with John Bell Edwards.

This is what I was thinking.. "I hope he doesn't end up becoming King's puppet". But maybe letting Alleva go was a message to King as well. "Stay in your lane".

I’m hearing that King will definitely be gone and it’s expected in the next couple of months.

I have serious hatred for FKing. Even more than I hate Alleva.

I’m guessing if enough people (especially prominent wealthy boosters) refuse to donate anymore money until he is removed, then it’ll happen pretty quickly.

If JBE think that Alexander could possibly cost him re-election, then his days are numbered...
