One gets burnt at CB all the time.
The other can't control his emotions and takes his helmet off .
This isn't just a one game thing either.

Burns finally ditched the cowboy collar. At least he has that going for him.

Sage Ryan somehow keeps finding his way onto the field. This man must be elite in practice because he’s terrible in game

Not until Kelly finds replacements for them.

If our back end is that bad that those 2 have to constantly be in the game then we are in worse shape than I even thought.

all the DBs are below average. No Stingley's or PPs out there.

Horrible
Gilbert is too

Jackson, Mcbryde, Toviano, and Woodland should be starting and taking their lumps - at least they have a chance to make a play

The problem is we aren’t very good at defensive back or defensive line.

defensive line.

I’m honestly not mad at the defensive line. They looked good and we got pressure rushing 3 at times.

I was over the Sage Ryan experiment last year.

I was holding out hope for Major.

These two just won’t go away. It’s insane that they both still see the field.

Year three of a $100M coach and this is the best we can do at these positions?

No way in hell is Sage Ryan our 2nd best CB.
He might be in practice but he definitely doesn't carry it over if he is.

If it was just an experiment it would have been over early last season. Unfortunately it speaks to the lack of talent LSU has at their positions that they still see the field.

I will say Woodland and Stamps were encouraging to watch and Baker obviously has made a difference in a short amount of time. Just need to bring in some more talent.

3 changes I would make in the secondary

Move Ryan over to Gilbert’s spot
Woodland in for Ryan
Toviano or Jackson in for Burns
