I have nothing to add except I bought two Bama tix at halftime of the Texas game.

Gambling that I can get them cheaper now than later if we keep winning. And the seats are covered since it’s a 2:30 game.

No, ND is huge draw and even though it may not end up being the biggest game it's still guaranteed a huge rating.

Not sure why you are getting so many downvotes. I don't like that ND is a draw. I don't understand why ND is a draw. But that doesn't make it less so.

Georgia/Notre Dame will have huge ratings.

I could see CBS trying to get UT @ LSU next season.

I want it at 2:30 on CBS just for this year

Me too. I don't get people who think our night game tradition should apply to road games. I like playing at Bama during the day.

I think it’s gonna be 2:30. CBS is airing the game no matter what and they had to give a shitload to ESPN to get that game moved a few years ago. Couple that with LSU-Bama not being a great game the last couple years, I think they just air it at 2:30.

I'd rather they play in Tuscaloosa at 2:30 anyway.

Not 100% certain, but CBS should have the rights for the game since it is an LSU home game and CBS has the SEC contract. Same reason UGA-ND is on CBS.

You guys crack me up. We have an offense for teams like Georgia Southern and Big12 teams, but we wont be able to run against Bama, which will make our passing ineffective. In other words we wont have an offense against Bama, so why the hell would CBS kick themselves.

They play a pussy schedule

false, they never play FCS teams and usually play 9-10 P5 teams

refuse to join a conference

for football yes, frankly i think its a tad short sighted because they'd probably make more as full time member of the ACC

Yet every year they get to play for a chance to win the National Champ.!

What universe do you live in? Notre Dame played in 1 BCS Champ Game and has been in 1 playoff, that's twice in almost a quarter of a century.

I don't get that either, i'd rather all our road games be in the afternoon tbh, frees up a Saturday evening.

no way. LSU still has a lot to prove relative to Bama and it's probably in their best interest to mix it up. ND and UGA will both be undefeated with a massive national audience vs. the same 2 teams from small states.

This is not a knock at LSU. IF it's an undefeated top-4 match up my guess is they find a way to put it in primetime like 2011
