I think is the first year where we've got very little to lose. We aren't supposed to win. We have an interim coach and the media is all on the Bama train. We have no reputation to uphold this year.

I don't think the players are nervous. I think they will play with some gravel in their guts and spit in their eyes. With Miles there was always the feeling that we needed to just "hang on" for dear life and hope Bama couldn't overcome us. Now we are the attackers and Bama will be on the defensive (figuratively) all night long.

Yall arent going to like it but I think this game will be a repeat of last year. I don't think our O line is good enough to match up with their front 7. I think we have the best player in the college game right now, but it's not going to matter if he can't get up field. Last year they played a base defense most of the game and we couldn't run against them. They knew we couldn't throw it and they just wanted to show they could beat us at our own game without really crowding us and it worked. Our D is great!! But their offense is better and ours, while it is much improved, isn't good enough to win the game against them. I think it'll be a good game but bama will come out on top unfortunately. I HOPE I'M WRONG!!! I'll still be there (1st game this year) yelling my head off for the Tigers!

I will have to say that for some unexplained reason I am more calm about this game than I have been in the last 5 years.

Why are you nervous? We're the under dog. They should be nervous. I'm more relaxed for the Bama game than I have been in awhile actually.

Yeah there is no reason for us to be nervous. We have an interim coach and are big underdogs. What are we gonna do, fire the interim coach, we are playing with house money.

LSU has everything to gain; the gumps have everything to lose. No need to be nervous.

why should WE be nervous? bama is the one with everything to lose. we've got only an outside shot at the playoffs, so we can play as free as we want to.

Not the homers - they think we'll win by double digits.

Most rational fans realize this will be a very tough game. But we've got a shot and our play over the past 3 weeks has made this week very, very exciting.

So, of course you should be nervous. Bama is a very, very good team. But we'll be ready, the stadium will be rocking, and it will be a hell of an environment.

The same. I'm usually about to jump out of my skin by now before the game. Not this year. I'm excited and I feel good. Have no idea what the outcome will be, but we have nothing to lose. New coach. New team. New attitude.

I don't expect us to win, so I'm not especially nervous about this one. Of course I hope we win, but barring that, I hope we play a game that shows the past 3 games aren't just an illusion.

27-17 Bama. Hope I'm wrong.
