It's not trivial. Funny that many of you goobs keep dismissing it because it's FSU. Yeah, it was UCLA last year. The gains a team gets from actually having to operate in game situations, with real game clocks and officials and communications, etc, far outweighs whatever you rednecks think LSU gains from "game film" of lol Duquesne.

Y’all think UCLA wouldn’t have still out schemed LSU last year had they not had a week 0 warmup game?
By now it seems clear to me it was total incompetence on the part of lsu coaching the past two openers . Pelini two years ago , both OC and DC last year.
LSU SHOULD be in much better shape this year.
FSU probably won’t be scheming all summer to beat LSU like ucla did, because they don’t know what to expect on offense or at qb; so it might be an advantage for lsu. Can’t hurt to be optimistic in the off season.

No one has any idea who we'll be playing in 2025. It'll be the new, expanded SEC with a completely different schedule. Even the OOC games might change.
