Recap:

Giggles....last year I only played 11 minutes..only half of a half of basketballl, that was like a fricking a year ago...I really don't even remember anything....ahhh...boxing out, yeah probably will need to do that....

Iowa supporting cast has lots of question marks to go up against the cast of
Flau'jae
Murrow
HVL
Williams
Poa
Get some good minutes from Del Rosario
Coaching Advantage: Mulkey

If the women can hold Clark to under 35 points, the game is without question an LSU win. Baring any ref interference tomorrow night, the women will be dancing their way towards another Final 4. I do hope USC can beat UCONN as I think LSU matches up much better to USC. I can’t even imagine the tears if the women can hoist the trophy back to back years.

LSU ML is the bet. But remember we will also be going against the refs.

From LSU Press Conf and Flau'jae..think it might be Flau'jae...?

Yeah, I would much rather play USC. I just hope we beat Iowa right now.

I think it will be...in the LSU presser...they asked her about guarding Clark last year and she said she's looking forward to the challenge and will have to really guard her b/c last year she realized she'll shoot it from anywhere b/c in the Championship game she crossed halfcourt and Flau'jae was like, she's not going to shoot it from there..and yep she did...so she'll have to be ready and guard her everywhere this time around is what she was getting at

Much is going to be stacked against LSU tmw night. Iowa is better than UCLA and you better believe we aren’t getting the advantage in calls. I think it’s forgotten just how incredible we shot the three in the championship game last year. That being said, I would really love to put them down again. Have to dominate the paint and stay out of early foul trouble.

The key to the game is the same as last year, LSU shot lights out on 3 points buckets score 100 plus game like last , as far as Iowa star , she’s gonna make her 30 plus points just take away the rest of her scoring, don’t let her run over Lsu like she did in the game against Colorado

Refs will definitely feel the pressure to steer the calls Iowa’s way so America’s darling Clark will be showcased in the championship game.

I love LSU, but holy shite the delusions y'all come up with to make yourselves the victims on this board is astounding.

I think the refs play a BIG part in this game.

I know it'll be flaujae but honestly I'd put flaujae on number 20. Caitlin side kick. Caitlin scores 30 to 40pts a game. And it ain't a question she is going to get that. But her side kick normally scores 20 to 25 pts a game. Alot of teams don't pay attention to that. I'd football this thing... put my best defender on their 2nd best player and completely take her out the game. And then I'd "bracket coverage" or switch HVL and Poa every 3 mins to face guard Caitlin all game. And if she makes shots she make shots. But iowa is deadly when the team is so worried about CC that the other players get wide open 3s.

Sure we can win this game but yes, people have forgotten how Jasmine Carson basically came out of nowhere to shoot the damn lights out from the three in the first half. She had like 20 points in the first half and we were up by 17 at the half after Kateri Poole banked a three in at the buzzer.

We have a different type of team this season but someone is going to have to come up big.

I saw a few of the early minutes of Iowa/Colo and everything was running through Clarks hands. Either deny her the ball or make her do everything by herself.

I trust Starkey to come up with a good defensive gameplan. The key will just be executing it.

I don't think Iowa has the same kind of front court they had last year either. We have two legit weapons in the front court.

I like the idea someone had about having FlauJae on their number 2 option. And Reese's biggest contribution will be on the defensive glass IMO.

Make her do everything herself. I would focus on making sure she can’t get her teammates involved.
