Per 247 sports
"Joe Burrow has the worst completion percentage (47.7) among all SEC starters, and yet his accuracy when adjusted for dropped passes and throwaways makes the LSU quarterback one of the SEC’s best, according to Pro Football Focus. Burrow has battled through five dropped passes, five throwaways, three batted passes and another throw while he was drilled by a defender on just 54 drop back attempts this season, according to PFF. Those numbers make his adjusted completion percentage jump nearly 30 points to 76.5 percent, just ahead of Auburn quarterback Jarrett Stidham's adjusted percentage of 75.6."

Found this interesting. Any thoughts?

Our receivers can't catch and our O line can't pass block. If Joe is average after that, I'll take it.

Everyone around him needs to play a lot better, including the play caller.

Any reasonable person can see he's not the problem. We're lucky to have him and the rest of the offense has a long way to go before he becomes the limiting factor.

Our OL is historically bad. Like, really, really bad.

If my aunt had balls, she would be my uncle. Every QB has to deal with drops and throwaways, it’s a part of the game.

three batted passes

Is this not on the QB?

Also does the rest matter? If the WR's can't catch and the O-line can't block, we will continue to the same results. . .

I thought Brandon Harris , Danny Etling we're the problems?

Now it's the o-line and WR that is the problem

I think the point is if some adjustments are made he can succeed. He isn't holding the team back with his play.

PFF had him at #7. Not sure bottom of the top half is one of the best, but it is better than last.

This isn't surprising to anyone that's actually watched our games. People will blindly see the 47.7 comp percentage and just say Burrow sucks.

I get it. Just think it's a bit of a straw man argument. Of all the things people are complaining about Joe is pretty low on the list.

If only he had an OL that protected him and receivers who concentrated long enough to make catches on a routine basis!

So averaging 32 points a game? I’ll take it. :)

Just says his talent is there. Doesnt matter if he cant get the ball off or receiver cannot get open. Everyone pretty well agrees this is what has to be fixed. We will have to use some short and safe routes to get the ball off on occasion this weekend to keep drives moving.

I think Burrow is doing an ok job. The problem is the pressure he consistently faces... I get that Miami can put heat on your QB. SELU shouldn't be doing that.

Maybe a silver lining in this- it's not like Auburn putting pressure on him will surprise him. Hell, he's been under duress almost every play here, he's probably getting used to it. If he doesn't get knocked silly, he might be able to step up.
