I can't recall if the last time a Alabama player was called for targeting was the game before an Alabama TD was called back for holding or the time an Alabama starter missed a SEC game for a flunked drug or PED test?

Burleson was in the instant replay booth for the LSU-Alabama game. The replay supervisor has the ability to give "advice" about calls involving instant replay. Quoted directly from Mr. Burleson's website … “He is now an SEC staff advisor on officiating and evaluates officials performance each Saturday from the press box and assists with instant replay.” Also, another quote taken directly from his website … “He is a native of Alabama and was inducted into the Alabama High School Sports Hall of Fame.” Mr. Burleson is same man that wrote a book about his time as an official that was named after something his good friend Bear Bryant supposedly said to him during a game ... "You Better Be Right.” Mr. Burleson lives in Blount County, Alabama and often speaks at Alabama booster club meetings, as well as other speaking engagements around the country, and is compensated for those speaking engagements.

So a replay official receives compensation for speaking at Bama booster club events? And no one sees a problem with this?

Damn, they got away with that too in the NCG on top of all the other crap in the second half? Wow.

It's time to cut the cord between Bama and the SEC Management and Officiating. Move the headquarters and alternate the positions.

not only that but leading with the crown of the helmet it doesn't even need to be to the head or throat.

How far down does his neck go? You can see his jersey above the helmet.

A crouch followed by an upward and forward thrust to attack with forcible contact at the head or neck area, even though one or both feet are still on the ground
Leading with helmet, shoulder, forearm, fist, hand or elbow to attack with forcible contact at the head or neck area
Lowering the head before attacking by initiating forcible contact with the crown of the helmet

And he meets all of the above criteria!!! He leads with the crown of his helmet into the upper chest (crown is the whole helmet area above the face mask and he is clearly lowering his head and hitting with the crown in your picture), upward thrust that carries his helmet into the head and neck area of the QB following contact creating secondary helmet to helmet contact.

basically your argument is that he hit him with the upper part of his helmet, but not far up enough to dictate the crown and as long as you hit him in the chest first, you can upwardly thrust into the head and neck area after initial contact?

He's leading with the forehead of the helmet into the upper chest and upwardly thrusting into his head and neck area. It's targeting!

Now this could be an example of collusion. 4 games where one of the best defenders misses a half or more and not one Bama player ejected in how long, a year, two years?

This needs to be topic of conversation with the National Media.

You talking about his jersey over his shoulder pads I’m assuming? Because it sure as shite isn’t his jersey above the crown of his helmet in his chest area.

Your are f’ing unbelievable.

You claim your a ref in another post, I will say it again....you are terrible at your job without a doubt
