I also heard on Carter’s Power Hour, LSU first 15 scripted plays net in the lowest quadrant of the scale. Hell, if our scripted plays are crap, that speaks directly to coaching

If BK makes major offensive adjustments and they turn this around to be a middle of the pack offense ill kiss his arse and ban myself.

I mean we are undefeated but we have 0 24 point games.

No more so than if our unscripted plays are crap. It’s all coaching, which has us 3-0 and in the top 5.

9 are undefeated. Luckily we have a better defense than most of them though.

9 SEC teams are 3-0. This post is about the offense. I have no complaints about the defense. They have been fantastic.

Most? Who do you think in the SEC has a better D than LSU right now?

9 undefeated SEC teams.

UM won the natty with the #1 defense last year. They also had the #55 rushing attack and 69 overall offense.

We have the #116 rushing attack and 94 overall offense.

We are literally the worst rushing team in the SEC.
You can win championships being elite on one side of the ball & playing serviceable complementary football.

You cannot win championships being completely ineffective on one side of the ball.

It’s not about offensive or defensive focus, it’s more about how bad is your weakest link? We saw it both ways in the latter Miles years vs 2023.

If we want to be a defensive ball control team, the short yardage offense has got to get much better — especially the run game.

Right now? Idk, we’re only 3 games in. I’d probably put LSU at the top of the list. Vandy and Texas are only allowing 1 more point per game than us. OU, Mizzou, Vandy, Texas, and Bama are the teams allowing less yards per game than us.
