You're parsing words and reading way too much into a pretty off the cuff remark.
LSU is not in CFP territory roster or coaching wise yet. Quarterback and offensive scheme remain problems as well as roster depth on both lines. O is trying to address the roster issues but he has a blind spot about his coaching staff and offensive scheme.
