When Harris looked like he didn't know what he was supposed to do when he fumbled snaps, turned the wrong way on multiple plays in different games. Try watching the games.

*Fumbled snaps for Harris but how many times has the center snapped it off Jenning's leg because of miscommunication. I would say its about even.

*And yea hes messed up a few plays and I stress few. Its kinda like LAST NIGHT when Jennings turned to toss the ball the WRONG WAY.

And what is wrong with talking about his Auburn performance? He started and shat the bed.

*Whats wrong with talking about how Jennings Shat the bed at HOME against the cellar dweller in the SUN BELT. Or we could talk about his 8/26 performance last night OR his average play in every other game.

Bottom Line It doesn't matter how much film Jennings studies HARRIS is the better QB and should be playing.

It's just kinda funny how Jennings always has perfect practices, but he never translates that to the games. Weird.

You called out a first year starting QB after having a 120 qb rating against a Top 3 school and winning the game? I would rethink that a-hole perception.

Are you kidding me? He's the starter at LSU for the next two years

AJ busts his butt and still does not have it. Yet CLM plays him because he puts in the work.

BH should see this as a challenge to put in some work. He just wants it handed to him? And you are good with that?

For the record he had the Auburn start handed to him and he laid an egg. I guess we should just keep handing it to him.

Considering last night's game, you're in an extremely good mood this morning.

To call Jennings' play "average" is beyond generous.

I've watched Jennings look lost in several game also. It's like his brain doesn't register that there are routes being ran in the middle of the field.

THAT is what's scaring most of us this morning.

Except, of course, Mrs. Jennings (aka "fightin tigers").

I try to be respectful because I am a coach and have former players that play on this team. To be honest I thought last night was terrible. Jennings made a few throws but looked bad most of the time. I thought the D was great until they got into their Prevent type D and played 25 yards off the ball with the secondary

While I appreciate his effort, the better player, not the hardest working one should be playing.

this...

i mean if you pick your starter based on film room study and not actual play on the field, then, by this line of thinking, Kragthorpe could watch the shite out of some film and toss the ball around with some of the receivers and have just as much chance as starting as Jennings, right?

Harris can throw it the entire field and is super talented (we all know this) but he doesn't put in the work that AJ does in the film room.

My thoughts have been MAJOR.. But my work ethic has been average. Won't see my results that way. Time to go harder.

That's from Harris' twitter. It sounds like he's admitting what his teammate told you.

Its crazy how much you hear Jennings is a student of the game, and you believe it, but you don't see anythgin that shows it.

He locks onto receivers, he doesn't go through his progressions.
He can throw about 5 yards, and he can chuck it up and hope for a receiver to get it, anything else is pretty rough.

I just wish Harris would start at this point so some of the youngsters would get to experience a true LSU tradition.

The understanding that we have to mediocre QBs and it doesn't matter which one starts.

If this is true (and I tend to believe it), then Jennings reminds me of my college roommate.

My roommate took basic Algebra (1021) his first semester and was failing it so bad at midterm that he dropped it.

The next semester he asked me if I could tutor him. I agreed to. I had helped some high school classmates with Calculus (1550) the first semester and they all did fine. It took me about 2-3 tutoring sessions to realize that the kid just was incapable of getting it. He just didn't "see" the obvious -- things you just can't teach. He put in an unGodly amount of time into the course. We not only went through ever problem in his textbook, but we also went through tons of problems in a commercial outline. But it just didn't matter. I kept tutoring him, but to no avail. He eventually failed the class.

Sophomore year he hired a professional tutor. As I suspected, it did no good.

The kid took 1021 a total of 5 times before he just gave up and transferred to a community college.

Maybe it's time for Jennings to transfer to a community college. He clearly doesn't get it and never will. If Les can't see that by now (especially with all the sh!t we went through with Jordan Jefferson), he never will either.

Can't get right.
